Strange enough, I had a salt lamp which electrics no longer worked, but I kept the lamp and put it on my plant shelf next to my Christmas cactus. The cactus bloomed for Thanksgiving, bloomed for Christmas, bloomed in February and continues to bloom. The cactus never did this before. Unusual, vexing, lovely.
Holy cow! That may explain why my Christmas cactus has bloomed 3 times since last October...it's sitting about 2 feet from my rather large salt lamp! Even my neighbours think my lamp has magic in it 😄
Hey handsome! I have one in each room because its glow is so cool, ambiant light makes a room gently warm & embracing. I feel ambiant light in a visceral way. I don't care if it does all it says. But you glow & you make me happy as well! LoL
I went to a Himalayan Salt Cave in Santa Barbara. The cave walls and ceilings are made of 45 tons of backlit Jurassic-Age salt blocks and crystals, while the floor is covered with crushed salt. Pretty trippy.
Your video gave me an unexpected gift. I got up in the middle of the night recently, walked directly into a door frame and broke my toe. I'll put my unused salt lamp in my bedroom as a night light. Thanks.
The only thing I find is that I enjoy the warm glow and color as I would a candle. Love mine, but do not buy into the healing thing with it. Decorating your environment with calming and beautiful things does improve your sense of peace in your space.
I had a family member who, for years, sat on a bar stool in the kitchen smoking cigarettes. They'd run the exhaust fan in a feeble attempt to keep the rest of us from complaining, while they slowly but surely killed themselves with cigarettes. I've installed a salt lamp on the countertop nearby & the family loves it's pretty pink glow. But I've actually placed it there in hopes of sopping up the years of negative energy that accumulated in that kitchen.
Me too, carolmichael2715! I have little bowls of found stones all around my house and a small crystal that someone gave me sits on my bathroom sink. I figure if I'm drawn to these rocks that it must be important to hold onto them. Just feels good to do so.
I have one in my bedroom and I love it because I hate turning on the full force light if I wake in the middle of the night. This gives a nice soft light that is bright enough for me to navigate the bedroom, find my slippers, etc.
It sounds very autism and ADHD related to me. Extreme reclusiveness. I have hacks to manage my anxiety when someone calls or rings the doorbell. Both have happy songs instead of rings or anything strident. It helps me think maybe it's something good. It usually is.
I'm not sure about the lamps, tho I like them a lot. I've been going to a salt cave at least once a month for about 6 months. Not only salt rocks on walls and ceiling, but pharmaceutical saline pumped into air (halogenerator). I get so relaxed and can breathe SO WELL afterwards! I love it.
They actually do get quite hot if you leave them on day and night. I never turned mine off because when you turn it off what you’re talking about occurs keeping it on keeps it dry so it doesn’t start to melt from humidity. It also has a wonderful glow that is warm and inviting and even romantic and I have five of them. Says the Gemini woman here with a Gemini rising and a Gemini in Jupiter! I believe that they do a good job of releasing negative ions and clearing the energy in the house. I love to visit our local Himalayan salt spa and it’s actually quite wonderful for allergies and lungs. I find you extremely joyful and entertaining! So glad I found you. You always make me laugh and smile which is a highly valuable commodity especially in these times. Maybe just cause you don’t believe in it is why it’s not good for you. Just saying! Also help helps to have a black cat along with the Himalayan salt lamp, and as many huge crystals as you can find!😂😂😂
I inherited a salt lamp from my mom. I keep it up on my fireplace mantel and use it as a night light. Its light shines directly into my bedroom. It's kind of cool to look at and it does attract moths. So there are some benefits from using it. I was not aware of the alleged spiritual, and/or health benefits from using a salt lamp, until I saw your video. Now that I know this, it might make me healthier. 😉It does help me from stumbling around at night, so there is that. The orange light it emits is supposed to help its owners to sleep at night. I believe it does just that. By the way, I have some crystals in my bedroom, so maybe the crystals absorb the orange light from the salt lamp and amplify its healing energy. It's just a theory at the moment, but it could become a belief. Belief is a powerful thing.😇👍☺🙏
I too turn it on, ritually. The desert dry when windy is positive ions. These are said to be negative and helpful. The winds irritate me. Again I use it ritually each evening for a bit. They are said to contain lead.🌹
Cash you’re hilarious😂with the “oooo I’m so spiritual with my lamp” - I have one in all my videos on my channel and don’t really give it a thought🧂💡 I forget it’s there most days but I do like the feeling the light gives me at night, so I keep it in my room. I’ll have a good giggle while recording from now on. 😉

The residue is bc salt is hydrophilic (attracts water), and therefore collects moisture, which then microseeps off w some of the salt. Maybe some of the newer ones are energetically different than some of the older ones. I’ve had mine for close to 25 years, but none of them are mounted on any kind of pedestal. They also do not weep like I’ve seen some of the ones you see nowadays.
I have one as well. I love the soft orangey glow it produces. I bought it more for use as a soft light to keep on in a room instead of a regular lamp. I never really thought it had any metaphysical properties or health benefits. It's just something pretty to look at.
I don't believe touching it too often would be a good idea. I have heard it cleans the air. Salt clears negative energy, that is what witches believe. Personally, I enjoy the ambiance the light gives off.

Salt lamps emit negative ions which are beneficial for well being. Same negative ions we can experience near the ocean or in the forest. Don’t underestimate the benefits. I have them in every room of my house!
Just ìn case no one has mentioned it Cash, you have to keep it switched on and glowing otherwise it weeps/leaks. I placed a saucer under my dad's ones in his room for those unexpected powercuts. UPDATE: I live in a very humid climate, as soon as the salt lamp is turned off for any period of time, it starts to weep.
Someone mentioned that salt is hydrophylic, i.e. it attracts water. In a humid environment it will attract water, which causes the residue and produces a sheen of salt water inside the lamp. Salt water is an excellent conductor of electricity, enabling your lamp to turn itself on. 😊
I have had one for years unplugged because the bulb burned out years ago and I can't replace it lol. I do like the look of it lit the most and as we all know anything that we like the look of relaxes our mind and brings joy. ❤️ from 🇨🇦
For the woo-woo of us, we put the salt lamp out into the full moon to clear and energize itself. The belief is that your lamps may need to be cleared. Than test again. Who knows?!
A friend's mother used to say "A fool and his/her money will on depart." Well proves she was right. I was one of those who purchased 2 and used it for a while and then stopped. Thanks for the info, Cash. 😻😻
I love Geology, so....rocks in any form (salt too) interest me. I have a salt rock candle holder I use for votive candles. I love the ambient light of the salt. It is relaxing, and without any fake "fragrance" fuming out of it.
Thanks Cash❤ I've had one for years now. I truly enjoyed the presence and the glow of it. The light bulb went out and I never replaced it. I will now😌😊👌🌞🌈👋
We have a salt/spa cave in Williamsburg Virginia and many talk about the caves assisting with respiratory problems. A friends husband had throat cancer and the Doctor actually recommended he spend time in the caves. They said it helped.
I find them very beneficial, as nightlights. Their adjustable glow provides a warmer atmosphere. However, I've heard that they do possess one "mysterious" attribute. Try to clean one in a dishwasher and it will "mysteriously" disappear. Salt in water.....who knew?
I bought two of them years ago and still use them. The reason I bought them was because we were raising a grandson, and he had the worst smelling room! We redid the floor, painted etc. and the smell was still there. It wasn't until I got this lamp in his room that the smell finally went away! (forever) I also turn it on when we cook bacon and that eliminates the smell. I never knew it was supposed to be good for the body, just the atmosphere.
Sometimes the salt lamps come from Poland in their mines. I borrowed one once from my doctor who was selling them with a return guarantee. I tried it overnight and slept with night terrors. So it went back. It was quite expensive but others find it great.
Cash, thank you for looking into the Himalayan salt lamp. I have the opportunity to get one years ago, but I regarded it and went, meh and walked away. I do sprinkle it on my food though, not for any beneficial affect spiritually. I just thought it might have some good other trace minerals in it. Heck, all this Himalayan salt might as well be called Pakistani salt for all we know!
It is supposed to be left on all the time for you to get the full benefits. Even if just the glow of the light is working for you. I have a few and love them. I guess to each their own.✨💜✨ I have had mine since 2003.
Clearly Jody didn't realize you had a larger salt lamp in another room. 🤭 I have a salt lamp on in my office right now. I simply love the color - warm and calming. Well 👏I'm glad we got that cleared up. I don't ever intend on sending you anything and haven't understood why people do that? All I can imagine is some storage room where they stack all the stuff. I guess throwing them in the garbage is a better idea.
I wonder if having an electric lamp within it means that the salt content enhances the emfs/conducts them out further, but not nearly to the extent of harmful of a cellphone, which is offset slightly by it producing negative ions and/or being aesthetically pleasing.
I have small ones in my bedroom, my office, and the second bedroom in my home. They're pretty and offer a pleasing warm glow during dark winter days, and I like that. That's all I need them for. Fascinating readings. And by the way, I met a guy who told me he was one of the first in a group of people to invent the finger-testing method. However many years later, 40, 50 years later, he was still finger-testing everything. I have actually never been able to make this work for me; I use a pendulum for everything. That does work for me.
Thank you Cash! The light inside is meant to heat the salt. If you have it off, then the humidity will cause the salt to "weep", which is why you get the stains on the bottom. The light should be on the whole time. The lamp is pure salt, so I think your question about whether it's good for your body would be confusing - your body is not meant to have that much salt. I've been to a salt cave - a room completely lined and filled with this type of heated salt. It is very good for asthma, bronchitis, etc - you can definitely feel the relief but it is definitely a lot more salt than one little lamp.
I have been in a manmade salt lamp cave and it was amazing. And, you are correct - we can't make this really do its thing with our little bulbs; that said, I really like them and they bring me comfort. Thanks Cash!
The USPS here in the USA 🇺🇲 has a 'Return to Sender' service for all unsolicited mail and packages. The thought of trashing one's gift of gratitude would be too painful for me!
Hey Cash, I think the home lamps are just thought to be calming, pretty to look at and assist in creating an ambiance. Now, there are Salt Cave experiences that do affect the body.
I use mine as a night light in my living room and I love the glow. Prior to tossing out your unsolicited envelopes arrive to your home MATBE You should do what Johnny Carson use to do… put the envelope to your forehead so you know what is in it…. It it reads cash open it up😅
I never thought about what they’re supposed to do for me. I have a salt votive from the Wieliczka Salt Mine and a friend gave me a lamp, plus I bought one. Love the glow. That and my selenite tower light and the art lights I make. Ambience in my WooRoom, baby!
Thanks for this! I often wanted to get one but I know it’s dangerous for cats. So I am salt lamp free. Thanks for the clarity & also for sharing your gifts with us! ❤🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
I have one in my bedroom as a nightlight and it was a gift. Mine is a salt bowl with beautiful salt balls in it. I think it’s just beautiful. I sleep well but have never attributed it to the salt lamp. Lol. I think it’s purdy. Thanks, Cash.
I've had a couple of salt lamps for maybe8 years or so. One lives in the living room (appropriate, no?) and the other in my treatment room. The light is a comforting glow regardless of any effects, but I do notice a difference in the energy of a room if it's off, so I leave them both on and I"m happy with them. On a different note, my son has a history of GI issues, and he has a small plug-in salt lamp - like a night light - in the bathroom and he's been seeing a difference in those issues... The light is pretty, I'll keep it on.
Wondering if some of the benefits might be in the color light waves, if there's benefits of the color emitted by salt, and not necessarily the salt itself ? Maybe that's the Question ❓
Cash 🌟 I find value and benefit to the warm glowing beauty of my salt lamp, ergo it’s pleasurable for me. Pleasure is good! Interesting subject to ponder. Thanks Cash, you da best❤
Perhaps it is not beneficial unless you need it. 🌞 Personally, I keep mine as a beacon for universal light and not for physical healing. Thank you Cash
I don't think we need anything except our loving hearts. The inner self is where the strength comes from. But I do use them for the Light, but always have my water with me as they can be drying when left on. ❤
When I was in Nepal I got some salt rocks, but they were very purple had a very distinct odor. I do have a salt candle that was given to me, but never use it. But my muscle testing said it was OK for my body.
Maybe it’s Olive turning it on to say hi ❤🐈⬛
That was my thought too - some friendly spirit is trying to get your attention, Cash!

Really? I have 2 and they never weep. I don't keep them on all the time, just sometimes.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing. 👍
To prevent the salt from "melting" you need to leave it on all the time so that it stays warm enough to not absorb humidity from the air.
Thanks Cash❤
I've had one for years now.
I use the quartz lamp. You should check a quartz lamp. People get salt because quartz cost a lot more.
Fascinating! My son gave me one years ago and I love it. I never bought the "healing" part of the mythos, but I do love its glow.
I find them very beneficial, as nightlights. Their adjustable glow provides a warmer atmosphere. However, I've heard that they do possess one "mysterious" attribute. Try to clean one in a dishwasher and it will "mysteriously" disappear. Salt in water.....who knew?
Would be interesting to see the results of testing some crystals, they are widely touted as having a range of effects and uses.
Woo hoo! I love your posts on this channel ❤
My pendulum liked it for me and my room!
Sending loving energy to all.
Okay😂 it’s a crystal , and like any crystal, it has its time when it’s beneficial. I don’t recall telling you it would work miracles 🎉😮😅
Sometimes the salt lamps come from Poland in their mines. I borrowed one once from my doctor who was selling them with a return guarantee. I tried it overnight and slept with night terrors. So it went back. It was quite expensive but others find it great.
Tks Cash! Always was curious Abt this one😊
Love it!!
I have several.... I keep them on all the time....
Love to see you! I was gifted a salt lamp so will enjoy seeing this!
It is supposed to be left on all the time for you to get the full benefits. Even if just the glow of the light is working for you. I have a few and love them. I guess to each their own.✨💜✨
I have had mine since 2003.

9:51 I love this❣️ I NEVER give up!!!
I have o e in each room of my house, except the basement.I like the light.
Thank you Cash!
Thanks 🎉
The USPS here in the USA 🇺🇲 has a 'Return to Sender' service for all unsolicited mail and packages.
The thought of trashing one's gift of gratitude would be too painful for me!
Or giving it to a charity.
It it reads cash open it up😅
They are so pretty and relaxing to look at tho.
I like mine ( tho seldom have it turned on) so I’m just gonna pretend it’s good for me! And it has a lovely glow
Oh i didn’t know that! I have one but my cat leaves it alone. I think it’s really relaxing and I love the glow
I have one in my bedroom as a nightlight and it was a gift. Mine is a salt bowl with beautiful salt balls in it. I think it’s just beautiful. I sleep well but have never attributed it to the salt lamp. Lol. I think it’s purdy. Thanks, Cash.
I had one for a time back in the 90s. Because of our indigenous humidity it melted into a puddle on my table. Lol!
You should have asked if its beneficial for the air in the room.
Interesting reading! I use them more for their soft lightening effect. It's very relaxing.🧡
I switched from candles to these Salt lamps a few years back!! I think they are Pretty🌸
I had one that shorted.
When I was in Nepal I got some salt rocks, but they were very purple had a very distinct odor. I do have a salt candle that was given to me, but never use it. But my muscle testing said it was OK for my body.
Well I think your results have been consistent! Love the sound effects and all your efforts 🙏🏻
Hola Cash😊ooh I have one too😊
