My thoughts on the Huskers vs Hawkeyes pregame nontroversy... No, Matt Rhule did nothing wrong by walking around the field. No, there's nothing disrespectful about having a pregame prayer at mid-field on the logo. Yes, if Iowa put security out there to stop the prayer from being on their logo, that is petty. Yes, it was poor sportsmanship to not shake hands at the coin toss. If that was a response to the pregame nonsense from the Hawkeyes, I believe a better way to get even would have been to live well, shake hands, and win the game. The more I see about this handshake thing and Rhule taking a walk around the field before the game, the more it sounds like a whole lot of projection... Like the guy that's a jerk trying to jump all over anything anyone else does to say "See! They're a jerk too! So I'm not really that big a jerk after all!"
Tony White's defense was on and off this year resulting in a mediocre team. Everyone had a good year to learn it and a lot of schools have exposed it. Not surprised he's leaving but a move to another DC position was surprising

I've been a Husker fan my whole life (I'm 71). I've come to the conclusion that Nebraska isn't Nebraska anymore. It has become so difficult to follow this team. I was all in on Matt Rhule. Shame on me, being a Panther fan thinking it wouldn't be any different than it was with the Panthers.
How bout the DB coach brought in when Evan Cooper stepped down, could they bring Coop Back. White is gone, Holgersen should be if he doesnt go back to WV. Iowa overreacted about everything. They needed it to get inspired!
If Florida State doesn’t make the playoffs next year, Norvell will be fired and they’ll all be gone. I’m not sure that’s a well thought out move for White.
Not even a lateral move in a lot of ways. They are a school who can’t get into the BIG or the SEC, pains me to say. They are going to be one of those once great schools on the outside looking in on the TV $$$, which makes talent world go ‘round.
I see why he wants to leave. He took the D from one of the worse to Top 25 D for 2 to 3 years now. Being in some to overlook ur coaching would ruffle my feathers if I thought I should be a head coach somewhere. Or he knows he needs another team to show how good he is to get a head coaching job.

Give Dana a 3-year contract and try to keep Tony. He’s clearly a good coach. Players need to take accountability for our losses too.
If Tony goes, UNL needs to be prepared to spend some money to get someone good. Rhule can’t take another mediocre year
Also would not be surprised if Rhule has that person and let him know. Good yes, great? Watch the Indiana game, the Illinois game, the USC game. Like him but he isn't great
White left because he did his job for 2 years and didn't get help from the offense. Florida St is easier to build faster with a higher rate of success.
No if anything hes leaving because its an easy resume builder hes been gunning for a hc job one more rebuild in the books helps alot
Would Bill Busch be considered for and interested in a coaching position?
Maybe special teams. NOT DC
Bill busch took over when chinander was fired and did a fine job considering the circumstances.
I think coach Busch is tired of being let go as a husker coach.
I hope that they both stay, White is a phenomenal program builder. If he goes, best of luck and may he be successful in the future.
I do not think anything is wrong but we should probably do prayer at one of the end zone
Im just frustrated.. its part of the game.. We will be just fine !
Who cares if he leaves. This season proved that his gimmicky defense doesn't work against good teams.
Tony was never going to stay and who cares. The d was weak all year despite a few quarters of competant play.
Hi Adam, I probably missed your repiry on Women's Basketball? 13:47 Are they still rated #25? Thank you! GBR!

I have nothing but respect for Tony White. I believe that if he leaves he has without a doubt earned whatever job he does.
I thought he would leave for a head coaching job. FSU must’ve offered him some serious money for a DC job. There’s nowhere to go at FSU but up.
TW wants a head coach role and it's easier to play defense in the ACC. Pretty easy.
TIME FOR COACH SUH
Tony is gone. Matt didn't do anything wrong. Iowa just looking for reasons to hate on us. Not a fan of the refusal to do the handshake before the game. Just be the better sportsmen.

He’ll probably leave because with Robinson and Hutchmacher leaving the defense will probably take a step back next year. That will cause his stock to drop so he might as well cash out now.
Pay the money to keep him!
Unless it’s money, why FSU. Best of luck if he goes. Seems like a lateral or lower move. I want Satt and McGuire to leave.
FSU is a far superior program than Nebraska One year doesn't make a program
Far superior program at FSU
I've been a Husker fan my whole life (I'm 71). I've come to the conclusion that Nebraska isn't Nebraska anymore. It has become so difficult to follow this team. I was all in on Matt Rhule. Shame on me, being a Panther fan thinking it wouldn't be any different than it was with the Panthers.
as a fsu fan living in Nebraska, I’m sorry y’all don’t deserve this
His defense struggles against RPOs and running QBs. Hope you don’t play against teams like that.
You're not very bright
this sucks, We need someone good. Leaving for fsu is just sad
He is what has helped us gets closer to being what he want to be. I hope he stays.
There has to be more to this. Something must have happened in the offices. Having said that, meh. Wasn’t super impressed this year tbh.
I'd be surprised if White left for a currently lesser program in a weaker conference for anything other than a head coach position
He gone. It's official
@StonedMeadowOfDoom 🙉 sorry didn't catch that
Keep Tony, Let Butler Go.
100%
Why ? Please explain.
I think Matt Rhule would like to see a 4-5 defense. Maybe better for big 10
Terrible timing with signing day coming up.
Adam, do you have an update on this because everything I’ve read so far has Tony already gone.
Not even a lateral move in a lot of ways. They are a school who can’t get into the BIG or the SEC, pains me to say. They are going to be one of those once great schools on the outside looking in on the TV $$$, which makes talent world go ‘round.
(If White leaves)I hope Bill Bucsh will be the new DC and also hope the 3-3-5 is gone. GBR 🌽
That might be the dumbest thing I've heard all day
@NOCOHusker Back at you, read not heard. What's wrong with Bill Bucsh and/or what do you love about the 3-3-5 so much?
Now it sounds like the defense is going with him.
Why would anyone want to go to the dumpster fire at Florida State?
I see why he wants to leave. He took the D from one of the worse to Top 25 D for 2 to 3 years now. Being in some to overlook ur coaching would ruffle my feathers if I thought I should be a head coach somewhere. Or he knows he needs another team to show how good he is to get a head coaching job.
The players aren't the only ones trying to boost their bottom l ine, not to mention beaches over frozen fields
Tallahassee isn’t anywhere near a beach
Good luck Tony White. For new DC i like in house our line backers coach or what about ryan waltels? Failed as a hc but sure had good defenses as a coordinator.
Adam “Let me know in the comments below” Carriker
I gotta take the "over", Adam ... I'm counting Holg, but before fall camp next season, 3 more departures shouldn't be surprising.
Chip Kelly gave up a fortune to be OC. He's already rich getting older doesn't like recruiting. I'm glad player's are getting paid and have freedom of movement. Coaches get paid and leave programs constantly
Why Tony go to FSU, coach Nvevelle is on the hot seat, he will be gone next year unless he wins the ACC.
Yesterday my answer would have been different. After this morning's rumors,
I'm goung with the Over for the NU coaches leaving.
According to SI T Knight is supposed to follow White to FSU...either way i wish them all the best if they go.
Get Bill Busch back in here for DC or ST
