Been following you and a few others for awhile now and I watch your videos far more than the others. I have carved a few of your works of art (though nowhere near your level of quality) and have learned a great deal watching your technique. You are amazingly precise and deliberate with your cuts and your level of detail is something I strive to emulate. I am a novice and know that will take a long time, but I enjoy learning by watching your craft. Thank you SO MUCH for putting such inspiring, insightful, and thoroughly entertaining material online for the world to appreciate!
Thank you so much norman!👍🤗🥲

This is so adorable cute. Thank you for the detailed instructions. I can’t wait to do this one for my grandson. Please, take care. 💕 greetings from South Africa ❤
Thank you for watching!👍🤗
This one looks super fun. Bet it will be a great addition with a little bottom stake to hang on out my wife’s flower pots. I usually drill the bottoms and press in a 8 penny nail with the head cut off. Works like a charm
Thank you stephen!👍🤗
I saw this design on Pinterest and made a couple frogs last month. It’s always interesting to see how you layout the design. Love your videos
Thank you for watching!👍🤗
Another winner…can’t wait to get started! Thanks my friend. Stay well.
Thank you JMW!👍🤗
Wow these are awesome. Can’t wait to get started on them
Thank you for watching!👍🤗
I prefer the natural sounds without the "music". Personally I like to hear the cuts, where the music does not add any value. Thanks for the videos. As a side note can you also consider listing the knives and other tools that you use in the videos. I know that you often list the basic information on some tools, but brand name if available would also be nice.
The music stops when the cutting starts. Thank you for watching!👍🤗
Sehr gut. Vielen Dank für' die Anleitung.
Sehr gerne!👍🤗
Any chance you could provide some basic info. on the tools you use? I have an assortment of knives but only limited palm gouges and I would like to expand my set of gouges. Thanks!
Thank you for watching!👍🤗

@@woodcarver What type of wood / knife do you use? I'm only 12 minutes in the video, and it took me 2 hours to get there 😢 I think my knife isn't good enough or my wood is too hard
Ohhh I know what I’m working on tonight!❤🇨🇦
Thank you for watching!👍🤗
Excelente.
Felicitaciones!!
Muchas gracias!👍🤗
Awesome Job..
🇺🇸🇺🇸🪓🔪👍👍
Thank you john!👍🤗
Ok, is Jelutong soft? Would it be worth it for me to buy it instead of basswood? I bought my first set a couple of months ago and the wood seems pretty hard, my knife is sharp enough so I assume its the wood but I have no other "softer" wood to make comparisons with.
I prefer Basswood. In my country, I use gelutong because Basswood is too expensive. Thank you for watching!🤗👍
Do a little search there is an alcohol and water mix you can spray basswood and make it softer
@@stephenkendall6108 Tried that, I actually let it in water for 2-3 days and it did become much softer. The issue is when it dried out it looked completely different than when it was wet (Much more rougher and underfined edges) meanwhile I see these videos and people are carving effortlessly... Im def doing something wrong.
@@woodcarver Understood, thank you for answering, appreciate it!
