@@JamCavity87 Yeah I mean, by the end she was almost whispering at times. Compare ‘Bad Dad’ with ‘Giving It Up’ - she has the same verse in both but she sounds so much stronger in the earlier one. I dunno if she damaged her voice (it was rumoured) or if it was just a reflection of how much less into it she was.
@@tmb8807 oh I understand now. She is very hard to read. A lot more stubborn than a weakened voice. With jenny slowly coming to the forefront from the Bridge onwards it became more manufacturerd and back up vocalists really masked Linn. Wasn't it a parter of Jonas around Flowers who sang with her range and similar vibrato? Her voice was very much suited to the genre at the beginning not the poppy stuff thst popped in and out from flowers onwards
@@JamCavity87 Totally agree. The first album was the best stuff they did anyway but her dark voice suited it perfectly. She definitely wasn’t giving it her all later on though. I think Jonas did employ some other backing vocalists, but Linn is still recognisable on a lot of songs. Just really weak-sounding. I think ‘Da Capo’ (the song) is the closest she came after the first album to really sounding like her old self, but even that is still not quite the same.
That’s like saying your hate new borns. And only like 22 year olds. It’s all part of process. I don’t like houses that are only half built but I enjoy the original idea and how it was decorated at the end
Very nice to hear raw voice of sisters, specially our dear Linn (Malin Berggren) i never heard it before, nice and beautiful vergion
The best song of Ace of Base. I love this version and love Linn' singing style. I miss her so much!
I just love the way Linn sings on the really early stuff. Her delivery was so strong compared to where she ended up.
Where she ended up?

@@tmb8807 her full demo of living in danger the 4:52 was wow. Prefer it to Album Version with Jenny doing outro
