This came out so nice! Reminds me of a similar one I saw on Instagram. It’s amazing how versatile acrylic resin is. I mainly work with epoxy resin, but looking to transition over to jesmonite 85%.
Bsr merci ct un beaux travaille et merci pour la couleur je savais pas commeent la faire mais quon jais vus votre video je sais comment ct vraiment gentille madame
As soon as I came across this video and saw the thumbnail I straight away thought of @lemoncrushstudios & thought it was her!! So you did an amazing job looks fantastic.. Quick question once you sealed it, does it lock in the paint as in if you were to wipe it with a lightly damp cloth would the paint come off? Just thinking of anyone we’re to accidentally spill anything on it..
At the time I wasn’t sure how it would come out if I just swept paint all over the stencil. I was experimenting… but the smarter thing to do would’ve been to paint over the stencil. But it was fun and I also wanted to try it out and see how the painting would turn out
@@CaylinFouriewhen you do the stenciling, use a brush that has very little paint and dab it on...don't just pull it over. I'll share a stenciling tutorial if that's okay
Is the red and black is acrylic?! Niiice here our acrylic is soooo baaad and weak dont have this strong colors ... Its my first time to me here ❤❤and i just love it .. its amazing handmade ..thanks for share it with us
To much pigment. This can slow down cure and sometimes stop it curing. Your more experienced now this is by now an older video so you only need a tiny spot of jesmonite pigment. I also wandered why you mixed a beautiful red up then when I seen you added black then more red I didn't know why. But the jesmonite pigments are strong.
@@CaylinFourie I'm 62 I made my fist chess set in 1979 when I was 19 I made a complete mess in resin. I still make chess sets now. I had to give up but made a come back
That’s really stunning. Love how you made the red part. Must give that a try. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Fabulous, what did you mean when you used resin instead of water?. Pls explain. Thanks ❤❤😊 Lisa
I'm in love with this design 😍
Love it!
I loooove this design you created. Jesmonite is finally available in US!!! I look forward to trying it out…
You’re lucky
@@CaylinFourie I am sure, as only one state is a distributor, it’s going to cost a lot!!!
What is the brand of pigment to use it ? Sorry but my english is not very well
You done a beautiful job.
Hard but very satisfying! It look so good, I loved it! ♡ A hug from Brazil 🇧🇷
Stunning. Where did you find Jesmonite in South Africa?
From Bijoux accessories or So Resin and Moulds
So cool good job ❤
It’s amazing 😻🤍
Beautiful but why didn’t you just paint on top of the transfer and then peel off the plastic?
Lol 😂 I figured this out in my latest video…

I’ve wiped it with a damp cloth and seems okay… paint didn’t smudge 🤗
Why did you remove the stencil before painting? Surely that’s the point of a stencil??
Yes as I later found out in my other videos, I was still pretty new at this stuff
At the time I wasn’t sure how it would come out if I just swept paint all over the stencil. I was experimenting… but the smarter thing to do would’ve been to paint over the stencil. But it was fun and I also wanted to try it out and see how the painting would turn out
,😄 actually
Overall wonderful work👍keep it up 👍

Can we use a permanent marker to make the leaf part,it will be easier
You can, although it doesn’t look so great
Its beautiful, where did you buy the red pigment from?
Bijoux Accessories
@Caylin Fourie Thank you, will have a look
❤❤❤❤
beautiful, one question, what paint to use?
Think I mentioned it in the beginning of the video. I used monte mart satin acrylic paint 🙂
Do we have to use sand paper to scrub the top part?
Don’t have to
I'd love to work with jesmonite were it not so expensive.
There are alternative, acrylic resin… gypsonite
Nice ❤ i'm in love. Are you using acrylic pint ??? Receba um abraço de Portugal 🇧🇫
Yes 😁
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍
Με ακρυλικά χρώματα κάνατε το λουλούδι???😊😊🎉🎉
What kind of pigment did you use? What is this pigment called?
It’s black pigment I got from Bijoux Accessories here in South Africa. There was no specific name for it when I bought it.
Is it acrylic pigment? Thank you
Which colour is this?
Red, can’t remember the exact colour name
Please tell me the name of this powder. Thank you
I bought this in South Africa, it’s acrylic resin or also know as Jesmonite
Thank you
Why not leave the stencil and paint over it??
At the time I wasn’t sure if it would work, but looking back I should’ve done that lol 😅🤦🏼♀️
Can you share the Instagram link of lemon crushed studio
Don’t use instagram anymore 🤍 sorry

Hahaha thank you for the advice! I also think back and wonder why did I add so much pigment… Still learning though a little more experienced now 😅😅
