I personally think the CDL should keep the idea of state/City based locations NYSL, OpTic Texas. ATL FaZe. pre CDL i was only an OpTic fan but once the CDL happened im a Minnesota Rokkr fan. I live in MN so it's nice to have a team besides OpTic to cheer for. then after champs you'd have the EWS with actual org names like OpTic Gaming, Faze Clan, Luminosity Gaming, & Cloud9. I know a lot of people don't like franchising but it's definitely helped me like more teams then just OpTic. Obviously i'm fans of teams strictly based on certain players on that team like Clayster being on Car Royal Ravens for MW3.

I personally think there is 0 difference whether CDL hosts it or another team hosts it because the CDL will be there monitoring, regulating and signing off on everything either way. This whole argument of "neutrality" is nonsense in the first place. Fans, "drums", custom intros, everything would've still been the same and available for any team to make use of. Just a bs argument being made by OpTic haters
