7:54 Asks the other band members what they think because they are so quiet and waves the mic in front of the rest of the band who has nothing to say but completely ignores the bass player (sorry I haven't learned your name yet). Sad, because in my opinion he brings the energy of the band to level 10 and I'd love to hear his take on much of what the band has done so far. Love that thick-ass bass, (so much energy) and delivered with a genuinely intense smile on top of it! I can tell he loves what he does and I'd love to hear more from him in interviews. Can't wait to see you guys in Denver in October. Look for me, I'm the drunk 50 year old with a long ass pony-tail and my two awesome kids that agreed to chaperone me!
I know right! I hate when interviewers only focus on the front man and when it constantly goes on it starts unfortunately bringing morale down in the band people start getting mad when they don't get to speak their piece. And yes Alex is the bass player I actually got to see one of their shows in Amarillo Texas and I met him and Joey and helped carry their equipment back to their van after the show and talked to Joey for a minute and Alex for good 15 minutes and they both signed my badlower ticket and he is a very cool down to earth dude. didn't care about me just chilling with him bye- the side door of his tour van talking to him while he's just getting stuff ready 2 get it back on the road. I really want to hear more of what he has to say in interviews as well he has a very unique personality from what I met of that 15 minutes I wish I could be a part of their band in some way because I feel like I would click with them very well especially Alex. Don't get me wrong I love what Josh has to say he is a great artist and a great frontman but unfortunately didn't get to meet him at the show. Maybe next time but yeah interviews should be the whole band speaking in some kind of way
I always love interviews with Badflower, however I wish that Anthony, Alex, and Joey were able to answer more questions. The mic strictly went to Josh, and the others didn't really get a chance to speak. Don't get me wrong, the questions were great and Josh always provides great responses, but the point of interviewing a band is to interview the band. 7:57 they were being quiet because they weren't asked anything
She even said, "We'll go down the line," then stopped after Josh. I actually think she's a pretty good interviewer, but that part made me laugh a bit in disappointment.
I saw them with Shinedown, and I never even heard of them. And I fell in love. I can't stop listening to OK I'm Sick. Fucking awesome for a band to sing about mental health like they do. So much emotion and soul. It captivates me, especially because I'm bipolar and suffer from panic attacks and suicidal ideology. Good stuff.
Great questions from the interviewer, and I appreciate her enthusiasm to include the other band members and create a positive vibe. Also, love this band, their music is inspiring and honest
I have seen many other interviews, he has a black one that is identical,I will bring Joey and NEW shirt when I get to see them in January in Milwaukee!!! (I honestly meant that)
"Rather than just writing cool riffs in rock songs then talking about the activism stuff on social media, why not actually put it in the music?" Well, because then your music is less likely to resonate with certain people, or resonate in a negative way, potentially decreasing the size of your platform for activism. Not knocking Josh's method at all -- Badflower has quickly become my favorite band (by a LOT) and I love everything about this man and this band. Just answering the question with my own ideas. I'm planning on getting into music production myself as the possibility of getting physically together with others to put music together becomes a reality again, and I have no qualms with "selling out" or any similar ideas for exactly this reason. The bigger my platform, the bigger the change I can have with my words apart from my art. That's if I succeed, of course. ;D
@@BrokenTrojan It's very disappointing cause Joey's my favorite member in the band I love Badflower so I expect all of Badflower to be in the "Badflower Interview" but then I get this Danny which I literally don't even know who that is
So who is Danny, a Joey stand in? First I have run across him and if this interview was from 2019, (or possibly that's just when it made it to the web) it doesn't make sense to me....
I dig these guys...but your "angry" song about animal abuse is truly not comparable to the take on all things animal related- SEE Cattle Decapitation. Vegans love death metal too. Yours truly, Humanure.
Mad respect to the vegan singer for not disrespecting and judging someone who’s not vegan
Tori, you did an amazing job with questioning and interviewing.
Badflower, you're a gift to this world with your music

And she’s quite annoying, too extroverted, too attention drawing instead if letting the band talk
She even said, "We'll go down the line," then stopped after Josh. I actually think she's a pretty good interviewer, but that part made me laugh a bit in disappointment.
joey isn't even there
God it's strange how much his voice sounds like Gerard Way
Gosh you're right
Now that you've pointed it out...
Like just his cadence when he speaks reminds me so much of Gee
He’s the Gerard way of our generation (it makes it sound like we are so old)
Idk why but they’re music reminds me of mcrs
These guys are great felt like when I first hered silverchair
Tman55 Free YOUUUUUUUUU WAIT TILL TOMORROOOOOOOWOWOOOOOOOOOO

I love this band. But oh boy is murder games not the angriest vegan song. The dude must have not heard of cattle decap

Miles Wardrop I saw them with Shinedown too. Obsessed ever since.
tori pops up in all these interviews with my favorite bands, i l o v e h e r

I’d walked by this interview after doing the MIW meet & greet, very cool 😎
LOL! That's me and my crew sitting at the table behind Josh. ;)
best heard since linkin park
When your v neck looks more like a u neck
Pretty sure it's a regular tee shirt that's just about as old as he is. lol

“I get that reference!”
I love how clear and concise this interview is! In so impressed with the questions, as I myself have wondered the same things. Thank you Tori!
"I'm trying to be hip with the kids is it working?"
"I don't know, we're not kids"
I love that you can hear Rival Sons killing it on “Too Bad” in the background of the beginning
i was just thining the same
Thanks Tori! Great interview and wasn’t aware of this band previously!

I didnt realize how young they were.
They do great interviews
Cool video and great interview. Bit surprised you don't have more subs, but I'll add one now.
I completely concur.
Joey looks bare different in this one

Where's Joey? I see Josh Anthony and Alex but that other guy looks not one bit like Joey
B.C. Young Right? Josh even calls him Danny in the video but the description says that she sat down with Joey

@@pauline1809 I'm calm? It's just if they say it's a Badflower Interview the whole band should be in it and not just "a person" 😂

Theres no problem eating animals but there has to be a humane way to do it
There its literally not a humane way to eat animals. You are taking away their life, nothing will make that humane.
Guys who is that dude in the green shirt?? Where's Joey? 🙆🙆🙆🙆🙆🙆🙆🙆
Looking cute Tori! ❤
