Thank you. You mention "Alex" and how she set this up....who is Alex and where can we find a how-to video showing us how to pout this together? Can you please add a link in your video description & post here in the comments? Thanks so much
Oh girl. I have used AAR for a long time. THIS IS GREAT!!!! So great! My kids never wanted to do the coloring and such with old activity books because they knew they would end up in the TRASH! This is good! So good! And if someone has to report, it also shows work completed!
This takes up less space from what I am doing, but similar. I use a large three ring binder. At the beginning of the year, I removed all the lessons, then placed all of the pages for each individual lesson in sheet protectors. They are in order, so each time we start a lesson, I simply pull it out. Sometimes, I prepare several lessons ahead and other times I cut the night before. Either way, it has saved time just by pulling them out. They may end up in the trash once the book is complete, so now I wish I had just used this book. Now I will have to go through and pull all of them out which will take a little time. Oh well, it is nicely organized. I may convert to this method once we are ready to Level-up.
You could also use a portfolio folder with prongs and just 3 hole punch blank paper and do the same. I prefer that so you can still add things or remove things as desired.
Oh I don't do it that way cause I reuse the curriculum so gluing and stapling would ruin it 😊 I'll have to stick to the binder with the each lesson in a page saver (activities can be filled out with dryerase on top of the page protectors and all the little activity bits are tucked neatly behind. Their huge and it's time consuming to put together but it works when you have a lot of children to cycle through each level with. Works for the consumables in most curriculum
This is what I do, but I only have one child, so I may use the notebook next level since it takes less space and I will probably throw it all away anyway (unless I decide to keep it for a few years for record's sake?). I can see if you have more children who will eventually use it, our method is best. It is nice and tidy.
Great hack! I think I'm also going to make color copies of the activity sheets and keep the originals to utilize again (for repeat copying) when my second child is ready for the program!
I just got this curriculum and this video omggggg THANK YOUUU, I didnt know how to keep the work. Instead of a notebook we are using the same Homeschool portfolio. We have a 3 hole punch and im doing it on white computer paper and putting it inside the porfolio. THANKS SO SO SO MUCH
@@LittlePodschool I forgot to ask you. Can you tell me the Facebook group where I can see my used curriculums? They are in great shape and I don’t want to throw them away
If you know that you’re going to use the curriculum a second time with the younger sibling, do you pre-copy all of the pages so that you don’t have to buy a brand new workbook or is it just easier/cost-effective to revise the workbook?
Thats so smart! Thanks! How do you like all about reading? Is it a sufficient language curriculum for first few years up to the 4th level or would it have to have all about spelling too? Thanks
I know this is late but they reccomend adding all about spelling level 1 to their learning after they complete all about reading level 1. So they qould be working on all about spelling level 1 and all about reading level 2 together
Probably not, because you’ll be gluing them in. BUT, once you invest in AAR, all you’ll have to buy is the student pack for your other children. Hope that makes sense.
This is brilliant! I also have a sentimental boy who wants to keep everything.
Thank you.

Yes! We have done that too!
Can you please break down how you did this? I have never used any curriculum before and am a bit intimidated.
She lost me
We are starting pre reading this year! Definitely going to do this! Thanks for sharing!
How did pre reading go? Is that for a child that can read already? is it too basic for a 6 y/o?

Awesome hack! We completed All About Reading 3-4 years ago. It worked so well for my dyslexic 3rd grader. It was a life saver.
What do you use after level 4?
I'm planning to use this next year. I will have to do this. I would love a closer look at how it's all put together, if you're interested in showing.
Sure thing! I actually have a video about that coming up soon!
Is there a updated close up video? I love this idea! Just getting started with AAR 1!
Here did you get the binders to store all your work in ?

I'm so glad!

Could you explain- is the student notebook not bound when you get it?
This is AMAZING!! I absolutely love it! So happy to have stumbled upon your video!

Thanks girl! It’s literally the most valuable hack!
We just ordered it thank you

Can I use Blast of to reading activity book without having to buy the complete curriculum set?
Brilliant!
What are types of guidance?
What is the amount of pages in the notebook you used??
Do you know your wall paint color😂😍
We don't use All About Reading but if we did, I would definitely be using this hack lol!
We are starting this program in a few weeks. What size notebook did you use?
Great tip! Thank you :)

Great and fabulous video hack
Is it still reusable for my other children if I put it in a notebook? I guess I’m still confused. I love how the kids can flip through it though!
Probably not, because you’ll be gluing them in. BUT, once you invest in AAR, all you’ll have to buy is the student pack for your other children. Hope that makes sense.
I only buy once and copy pages and make each kid their own binder.
@@LittlePodschool thanks! Love this idea!
I love you ❤️
Thank you for this❤
