McKinney saving marriages, one hypnotism at a time.
The real magic here is how a deck of cards continue to fall from the sky for about 20 seconds
production trow more than one deck of card or they cgi lots of cards
@artobaron399 you must be fun to be around...
Dude’s not a shake down artist. He’s a marriage counselor. That man will never have an affair with his wife’s sister again.
Probably cost less than therapy too.
could backfire... what if picturing him naked really does it for him?
She nearly drowned in real life. The chain got stuck and it wasn’t supposed to. In several interviews she said she looked like she was drowning because she was and no one on the crew realized it until after the shoot was done.
The show must go on
That would explain why she didn't return them I'd say. Lol. Guess that solves that
Sounds super cap.
For underwater scenes and shots there's ALWAYS emergency divers and an air setup, along with hand signals to indicate an emergency.
That's literally standard safety procedure.
I've heard about these interviews but haven't seen them.
@@W1ckedRcL Agreed.
This is the most blatant lie I've ever read about some "behind the scenes" bullshit that people come up with.
Hey $250 to fix your marriage and infidelity issues?
Fuck that's a great deal, way better than couples therapy
$250 now or half your marital assets later, kind of a no-brainer 😅
Talk about a discount on marriage therapy.
Everytime you see Janet you picture me naked 💀
Right ungrateful ass
@alexandersheron9079 the guy should have said "jokes on you. I'm into that shit." 😅
I think the first trick is genius, because it’s so simple because most of us would’ve actually picked the 7 of Diamonds
Also “You were away in Janet” 😂😂😂
The greatest intro of all-time in my opinion. This movie was just AWESOME ❤❤❤.
You haven’t watched many movies. Off the top of my head lord of war intro is a million times better than this.
0:36 😳Okay, that’s scary. I never saw this film yet, but I SWEAR this was the card I’ve picked!😅
It's a trick where they subtly make the card they want you to pick stand out more than the others. If you go back and watch the flip through again, you'll notice that the card chosen stays visible for longer. By using this trick, they can pretty much guarantee that everyone will pick the same card. It's honestly very clever, taking advantage of the fact the brain loves to take shortcuts, and forms the basis of a lot of forms of misdirection.
Honestly, I'd give the movie a watch. It really leans into the spectacle of magic while also helping explain some of the ideas being used so you can really appreciate the science behind the tricks as well. :)
I remember learning this trick on UA-cam immediately after watching this move lol. You cut the top section of another card and glue it to the card you want to be seen (the 7 of hearts). This way, the card will have an effect where it's visible for a little bit longer. It'll be the only card that your brain will process pretty much.
I picked the 2 of hearts!
Practically everyone's reaction the first time they saw the movie XD
@Innertorium my guy picked the one card he wasn't allowed to 😂
It was a solid force, if done for real, I've heard he did some of the magic for real.
One of the most underrated films of all time.
Nah...
if you have the IQ of a snail it is
I've never seen this movie before, and, is it a coincidence that I also picked the 7 of Diamonds?
No, it's not a coincidence. The deck is tweaked so that the 7 of diamonds is shown for a longer time than any other cards when he shows the cards. So you're pushed into choosing that card.
Damn, definitely the one i chose as well. I feel weak and manipulated
I chose that one too!
the fat the card trick worked on me too
Where's the REAL beginning - when the shuffler says "come close - closer...
great force on the first one
Like how no one is talking about the mentalist no way the wife wasn’t in on that to expose him and she knew his ass was gonna take money and she played along to pay him for exposing him he got chewed later
or she just agree with the punition he gave her
Nobody is that crazy about magic tricks..😂😂
…wait I picked the 7 of diamonds 😂
it remains on screen for more frames is why lol.
Same
I kinda wish that Daniel got lucky before he got the card

That’s not my card!
wait a minute
jack always win since if he loose he is stomlling the wallet but about the 100 bucks he gave the guy
was it from the guys wallet ??
If you catch 500, what's 100 ?

え。これ、見てる人もダイヤの7って思った?
My sis hmm
i think i found how he did the card trick its was a deck full of red seven card so you think of the cqard and then he swith for an other deck and do the reveal wich was time though a radio signal (or just him trowing the cards )
bro that's a movie. There's no trick, just production
@@gargapapa1867its a simple trick, that one card is shown for a longer time.
@@gargapapa1867 its literally an actual card trick people do, it being a movie means the actors don't actually have to be able to do it. and as for arto, no the deck is normal with the excption that the 7 is duplicated so it stands out more
One of the worst movies ever
How so?
@@siebekooloos9701 The characters are all shallow and without depth, you never learn anything throughout the movie that gives any of them any depth what so ever, you're fed Little bits thats supposed to give you some sense of relation, but they just seem ill fitted to the plot.
"Them frenchies! Immarite Guys? har har"
Fuck the poor, throughout the entire movie, the big ol' good gestures these 4 assholes do are supposed to make them be the modern robin hoods of the generation that got fucked over by big Money, it was appaling to me that this big flashy and no doubt expensive (had to be for the actors to put their names on it) production, draws on the people hit by Katrina and the crisis for sympathy, but the gestures the socalled heroes do for them are idiotic, None of their tricks would have allowed the people to keep the Money in the end, they would have to give it all back to the bank and the Insurance Company in the end anyway.
MURICA, lots of Vegas, Mardi Gras and NY to feed that sense of patriotism and pride.
Short and insignificant sidestory about the secret society "the eye, ooooooooooooh" to justify the motivations of the heroes to do good? why? who gives a crap?
How did they pull the heists? did they bring in skilled illusionists to give them a respectfull and solid Foundation for the magic in the movie? how do we explain it all? "'cause CGI!"
Not to mention that a movie like this where the Whole Foundation is to explain how they cleverly pulled it off, hinges on the fact that Things will be explained at the end, maybe you'll leave a Little to make people believe in magic. This movie doesnt even bother,"just...sorta...giant mirrors...n...stuff...anyway! CGI!"
Please tell me why you think this movie deserves so much credit, and explain what Im not getting here?
you mf i dare you to say that again the first one was so good how tf was it bad
You’re the odd one out
@@RAdaltonracer lol funny how the dissent is greater. The quote was taken from a source that agrees with me
That first girl was trying to hard to be cute. Also, how did everyone know it was the 7? Anyways…
If you pay attention when he's shuffling the cards, it looks like there may have been more 7 of diamonds in there, probably 3 or so 7's. Quite a lot of people there saw the 7 too, and cheered up when the building lit up with the card. I think he later explains that he bribed the tower's electrician in order to pull off that stunt.
@@carljohnson621 you can do that with a standard card game. You can force a card to stand out with a little trick
another way to do that trick is just to fold/cut the corner of the card right b4 the 7 so when flicking it the 7 shows slightly longer than the other cards
@@carljohnson621 no I know how the stunt is done I used to practice magic as a kid. But usually to get the audience involved you’d say “ okay now quietly tell someone people your choice or whatever..” and then the reveal and that’s way everyone is surprised. But I mean without that how did everyone know she chose the 7 ya know? Lol
@@like10smurfs. Because everyone see the 7 for a little longer
