my favorite parts of bike trails are bridges, boardwalks you can ride on and water ways and beautiful scenery and plenty of woods and natural areas. this trail was okay some of it was pretty. also I did enjoy osme of the history and scenery of the waterways and those boats and river boats with the wheel. pretty neat. got to see a place I probably will never see even tho Ilive 'next door' if my hubby doesnt retire soon we will be too old. or to frail, at least me anyway. he keeps waiting for me to get old enough. 3 years is a long wait when your already old. anyway having a friend join you in your travles is always much funner lol, than being by yourself.
Good Morning. As always great photography and music. Great to have and old friend to enjoy the ride. You have many years of riding and bring joy to people. On my last ride I was resting and having lunch when an older gentleman sat with me. He asked how old I was. I said I'm only 75, he said I was still young, he was 84. Keep riding.
Y'all give folks like me hope, I struggle with accepting turning older while in my mid fifties. I met a 93 yr old a few years back in a bike shop buying a new bike and she is still riding, I bet we talked an hour. I could have listened to her journeys all day long. May God bless you.
Great video! You should also take in the Nashville downtown riverfront trail, and the other trails in the Nashville area. And another cool bike bridge crossing is over the Mississippi at Memphis TN.
@@mobilemiall Thanks for the heads up. I’ve had Nashville sort of on my list for a while … just haven’t been able to get to it yet. I didn’t know about Memphis … crossing the Mississippi would be SUPER cool.

It's the old Big Four railroad bridge that's been there for almost a century but was abandoned with no access on either end until about 10 years or so ago when it was converted to what you see here.
