Hey again Vixelzzz :D, I've actually never really hade done drawings with neon colors a lot bc ever since I've started reading warrior cats I had thought that I would need to use saturated colors and I still do it to this day but I kinda got out of it a bit bc I got back into wings of fire and like if YK the dragons (ECSPECIALLY THE RAINWINGS,SEAWINGS,NIGHTWING-SANDWINGS,MUDWINGS,SKYINGS,SILKWINGS,HIVEWINGS,& LEAFWINGS) use a mix of saturated and neon colors so I am kinda getting out of the habit but I never really gotten the happiness of neon colors for all colors so ye, u got that childhood, I DID NOT :D, but yeah I just wanted to put that out there
There is this one piece that forever encapsulates the sort of thinking for me. It is a redesign of a bunch of sparkledogs (with the original artist's permission) into more 'realistic' ones. Losing so much of the shape and colour language in the process. But what really brought to focus the toxic way people (including myself) used to think back then, the redesign artist said these words: "If you ever want to be a professional artist you HAVE to deal with critique and stop drawing badly designed wolves." This assumption of wanting to make art into your job and therefore critique and mockery being allowed to 'toughten' people up hurt more than it helped. Besides, as you stated in this video it actually made for worse art because you followed the 'realism' rules.

I WOULD LOVE IF YOU MADE A SHADING TUTORIAL!! I’ve been drawing for ages, but I have never been able to wrap my head around how to shade in a way that looks decent
Being an in progress artist, I've only ever strived to be better. I know nekns can work but not in my artstyle, although my styles a mess so...if you have tips on the proportions, how to make emotions clear in faces, perspective on the body, I'd be very grateful! I use a mix of dull and neon, it works well 😅
So vixelzz uhm idk if this counts against ur guidelines I'm not trying to be rude or anything but when u did ravenpaw's eyes they're supposed to be green but the yellow does go well in my opinion but all I wanted to do was just kinda give a little tip

By the way, Pirucho looks similar to Sun paw/ gaze but with less furr and i thought he could be her brother. He was abondend when he was very little and was rescued by the couple that we adopted him from. HERE ARE THEY'RE INFO: Pirucho : Black N white domestic short haired tom he's got 15months, he's very naughty, clever, cheeky, quick, like super fast and gets on his granny's ( who is Suki) nerves Suki tabby Domestic short haired she-cat who is 12 years old she likes to nap hates her grandson because he bothers her. She likes pets and she's the EMPRESS of all cats. (please give her a mythic crown suited for an empress) (if possible) Thanks.
