Tbh, keeping your work space clean is soo important to me! At least having a surface that is free from all clutter is just nice for my brain. But I also like to have all my materials close by so I can just grab whatever and start drawing. Finding what works best for your workflow and trying things out can help what works for you c:
I tend to draw for long periods of time and then get a headache. 😅😅 So I’ve been trying to get into the habit of taking breaks to do some gardening or reading, and drink plenty of water ✨✨ I also find that it helps to categorise each painting step (skin/face, hair, clothing, etc…) and take a break in between each. If that makes sense? ✨Great tips btw!✨
I watched this after drawing for 5 hours straight in THE WORST shrimp position. Like, i made the shrimp emoji look like it had good posture. So the shrimp in the chair made me feel very called out🥲 In all seriousness the video was REALLY good its inspired me to start writing my own for my channel. Thank you❤
Me rn, sitting in my bed at 2am, having taken no breaks for about an hour (I didn't draw much today which is rare), rarely touching grass, usually compares my art with others to find things I need to improve on, having a slightly sore back and hands, and not drinking water for a bit: “yes yes these are totally things I do and follow and you should too.”
I find that breathing exercises and certain meditation practices can help out a lot too during breaks. You get way more tense than you think when you make art and I know sometimes I’ll hold my breath for smoother lines, so taking time to allow your body to physically relax and sort of reset itself is a big help!
Your art is SO cute omgggg, I love it, and fr if I didn't relate to the back problems, that shrimp was a call out xD It is scary how often i sit up for the first time in a while from drawing then hear a crazy loud crack lmaooo
im a begginar artist (please excuse my spelling english is not my first language ) and it seems like you know alot about art i mean this vid is proof could you make like a tips type of video for new artists also is true that in order to be good you must practise from refrence? love your art style btw
So turns out the only thing I CAN do is keep my desk tidy xD I hate it but I usually start working at 8/9am and only take toilett breaks until about 3:30-5:30pm 🥲 But my therapist helps me to work on that 🥲🥲🥲
