@ToughSoles beautiful creatures, snowy white feathers. Here's one for you. I organise a Boyne Walk from Drogheda to Navan along the river every year at the end of October or start of November. 33k along mostly unspoilt verdant countryside with lots of history on the way. Interested?
Was just there a couple of weeks ago and saw the Camino markers. I was wondering where they led as I was not aware of any Camino that started in Ireland, interesting stuff. I've walked the Camino from the border with France and almost started it from Brussels once. Thanks for the reminder of good times!
Yeah it’s been really interesting seeing different areas of Ireland unearthing their Camino or pilgrimage histories. Walking from Brussels would have been some undertaking! I’m hoping Carl and I will get to go back and walk another one of the routes some day ☺️
@@ToughSoles Fantastic, its really a special experience. Myself and my husband love your videos and they have inspired many hikes for us. Thanks for the awesome content.
Hey! Yes definitely - because it’s a figure of eight shape, you can start at the mid cross point and do each loop separately! So maybe 13km for each loop ☺️ - ellie
This is one of the most captivating and charming areas of Ireland. Thank you for sharing❤✨
Delighted you liked it, thank you!
I had absolutely NO idea that this existed. Definitely pencilling it in for a day when I’m at a loose end ☺️
The woodland after Tullyallen back towards Drogheda was my favourite section! ☺️
Most interesting and nice corner of Ireland !
Great video 👍
Bord Failte should back ye !
Little Egret !
Thanks so much! Yes love it around there, still much to explore as always!
Fantastic trail...Really enjoyed it
❤️
Even my girls have been to Newgrange. You're letting the family down 😂😂😂. Great job Ellie.
I’ll get there ASAP I promise! 🤣
Twas an egret you saw Ellie, we've lots around Drogheda. Great vid. You've never been to Newgrange 😮😮
Oh thank you for ID-ing the bird! Was really nice to see so many in the river.
And yes, Newgrange is a priority now! 😆

Oh I’d love to learn more about it - email me hello@toughsoles.ie
Excellent video Ellie. Really encouraging to get out and do it. Especially as I was born in Drogheda and haven’t been back since 😅
I think you’ll enjoy the forests after Tullyallen the most, and the history of Mellifont. And I didn’t know you were born in Drogheda! 😆

Hi Ellie, I walk St. Kevin's way in Wicklow . Last year. Valley mouth to Gelndough.
oh cool! I'm hoping to do that one very soon - did you enjoy it?
@ToughSoles ya, it was grand, took me two days. Enjoy being in nature for a couple of days, and didn't meet any people until nearer glendough .
Thanks for the information on the irish camino. I will get my passport soon.
Hi Eillie. Any chance there's a short cut, say just to do 15klms....the ould arthritis lol! Thanks
