Pastor Tim, just to let you know, this same sermon by Spurgeon impacted my prayer life so much. Thanks alot. Many in our day are really ignorant of this type of Order & Argument in prayer.
many of the examples of the patriarchs' intentions and actions are imperfect, just as we can see many of the earlier practises associated with living in the ways God wanted of humanity are also imperfect and limited (Jeremiah 7:21 - 24) we should not think to prayer as though we are presenting some form of contention, that is wildly misplaced, if we are to pray what does the Bible say, what did the Messiah teach us regarding prayer ? To have a contrite heart and mind, to be humble, meek, and live in the good ways shown to us The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. (Psalms 51:17) For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. (Isaiah 66:2) Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. (Proverbs 21:13) so let's remember to continue learning through the Scriptures good ways to live, most of all learning to be kind, understanding, and caring for the sake of all others He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6:8)
One of the best I've seen on prayer.
You're such a great preacher! May the Lord's anointing continue to fill you!

A fantastic sermon!
I've been asking for help with how to pray genuinely.
Prayers for whomever gave this a thumbs down...must have convicted them.

I'm just like in shock right now
He preached this a long time ago? No?
Amen, that is powerful truth.
"Preached at the 2018 Fellowship Conference New England" ^^^^ states above
I believe Tim mentions at the start, that this is the second time he has preached this, the first is here: ua-cam.com/video/GZ0FoRJJH_8/v-deo.html
Where was this? He says New England then Northeast then Oregon. Oregon is not New England or Northeast. It’s northwest. I’m confused!
