    Great use of Level 1 on the road! I just wish I wouldn’t have seen that Culver’s part right before lunch. 😄

    Is the live traffic standard on Model 3s? I have a M3 standard plus and don't recall navigation map showing red lines during heavy traffic.

      Yes, it is you can toggle it on and off with the model button of the three in the lower right-hand corner of your in-car map.

      No it's not. Requires premium connectivity package which is like $10USD/month - but that also gets you streaming for music & videos so it's worth it for me

    I never think about the range on my Model 3 (guess I should start 🤔) so I don’t know how efficient or inefficient it is ☹️. Are Culver’s just in middle America? I’m in Cali. Is it like Cranes Chicken🤷🏾‍♀️

      That's great! I take the same approach and keep it on percent - but usually keep tabs on efficiency to gauge if we need to supercharge or not. Culver's is burgers and frozen custard, mostly here in the Midwest.

    Tesla must have made some software adjustments to the efficiency cause that is some crazy good efficiency for a DM, especially on a roadie! I can't even get that on my single motor normally (about 225Wh/mi range). When we went down to San Diego in July (450 miles each way), my efficiency was way better than I expected too, and much better than the last time we went down. So that's further evidence maybe some adjustments have been made. I wonder if it's because there's more EV's coming out now that pretty much beat their EPA estimates and we know Tesla's don't come anywhere near theirs. So maybe Tesla is making these adjustments since people are starting to realize that while on paper Tesla's have the most range, real world tests say otherwise.

      Yeah they're constantly tweaking stuff, so who knows!

    Does your family just drive over your charger or do they have to unplug it to move their car?

    • @Sibs
      @Sibs  3 роки тому +1

      I told them not to but my dad did accidentally 😂 I usually try run it in front of the other car so it's not an issue

    Have you been trying to convince your family to install a Level 2 charger?

    • @Sibs
      @Sibs  3 роки тому +1

      It would be really expensive and probably not worth the hassle... Electrical box is really far from the driveway & garage, and I don't mind the ~10 min charging stop since it's V3

    Nice Job. We just did a long roadtrip from Tampa to Blue Ridge, Georgia. No superchargers in town. I also used the Level 1 charger overnight for the next day's adventure. Did that all week without issue!

    cool video and informative ... for me my Grandparent's house is 130Km ( 80.8 miles ) away from my current house ( my Parents ) using the Fastest route and I don`t need to use any Charging Station we have ( all of them are L 2 charging stations and probably free but some will charge you for the spot ) .. even though my Parents house don`t have a garage I think I can install an L 2 charger in the sidewalk ( but the problem is my mother olive tree ) .. don`t have that problem in Grandparent's house ... and Tunisia is a sunny nation so Solar will be great
