I don't really collect this line but I always get tempted when I see them. They do a great job with the clothes in that scale. They never look too bulky. I keep all my figure accessories in tackle boxes. I like the color and detail they put into his face sculptures and love that they add extra gloves with different movie parts in mind. Also like that he has burnt arms and such. Only problem is they look so much smaller next to all my 7 to 8 inch figures....You can pretty much get three good Neca figures for the price of one of those. So ya I like the line but can't get over the negatives that I feel stop me from buying. Maybe that will change one day never know.
This is a solid A Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy Krueger figure release by Mezco. The head sculpts have been sculpted and painted really well. Speaking of head sculpts, it's impressive that Mezco have included 4 head sculpts. The clothing has been nicely stitched. However, I do agree that the green sections on the sweater do look as if they were printed instead of actually being stitched. The display base looks good as well. Otherwise, thanks once again Spot. I really appreciate it!
Hey spot! Great review as always. Picked this gem up in February this yr and wanted to let you know the pointing hand on yours appears to have come undone on the index finger. But seeing how that made it easier to put on and remove is a blessing on your end. I changed the hand once and almost broke the blades. So you are a lucky guy! Keep up the good work 🤘🍻
I also just noticed that In the original A nightmare on elm street Freddy only had strips up to his chest down to his abdomen but not on his sleeves I wonder y they did that in the film I’m I watched the film 1000 times but never understood it
Mezco should've grey flocked his hat, his right ear should've been black where it was burned, charred more or less, his pants were black/grey, his sweater had more grease Mark's, it's a little too clean, and his glove tips are missing the iconic red braised look. I know it sounds like I'm shitting on this figure but ,its not screen accurate as he was in the first film. It's still a great figure, easily fixed. Great review as always.
All very valid points, and for the fact that these are 3 times as much as Retro Cloth figures, you would hope they would have gotten everything down on this figure
@@TheReviewSpot exactly the price is high for a figure that lacks in detail. Now say Neca for instance such detail for $30 dollars down to the tiniest screen accuracy, sure it's not perfect especially their retro cloth with excessive strings, and far less tailored clothing but their ultimates are down to a "T". Maybe one day there will be a collaboration between the two companies for a perfect figure. Yeah right. Great figure, great review as always. Always come to your reviews first for horror figures. Thanks for the reply.
Mezco one 12 are amazing figures but i prefer to collect the Neca retro cloth,They are 8 inch insted of 6 you pay them half the price and you still get a good quality figure.

I don’t blame you for not getting more of the Mezco One:12 Collective figures. They can be nice, but they also are pricey for what they are if you ask me.
@@SLICK8116 nothing to do with being poor. I spend more money on sixth scale figures than these cost. The Mezco One:12 Collective line is just hit or miss. Also this is a pretty old comment I originally made.

Neca doesnt have the articulation
4:03 he actually jumps to Jason in Freddy vs. Jason so it would be cool to recreate that scene with that accessory.

I got $185 today for my birthday and bought the mezco freddy and Jason
Great review. I feel like they should've had the smiling Freddy on the removable skull one as he was smiling in the film in that scene.
