I rode my KLR up there about a month ago and a guy with a stock new Subaru outback drove up behind me. I asked him how the hell did he make it up here with all season tires? His response .. " I didn't know I couldn't do that"
They are the stock rubicon Dana 44s with stock 4.10 gearing. The tires are 38s. Zero issues so far. Ran through the Rubicon trail earlier this year and handled it just fine. Video of that on the channel as well
How is it going TJ? What part of Cali are you from? I am from Visalia. I have a Gladiator also setup similar to yours. We should hit some trails once the fires are put out.
@@BuiltForDirt Gotcha. We should get in touch and hit a few trails. I was up at Shaver when the Creek fire started. We got evacuated during the High Sierra Poker Run.
I remember my ex screaming bloody murder when right side of my jku slid and shes looking at a big boulder on her right, nearly crushed right side of jeep if it wasnt for the rock slider. Her screaming scared the daylights out of me and that is why she is an ex and me with child support...lol. Logandale nevada for the annual hump and bump was the event i was on that day..fun stuff. Those gladiators looks fire with 37s or higher. I run 37 nitto trail grapplers on my 08 jku. Dont forget to wave.
What trail should I run next?
Moab
I would like to see the Rubicon trail . From start to finish
The Dusy
Nice, all of those trails are definitely on my list!

Got to love them longer wheel bases coming down ledges lol

Thanks!
It looks like you don’t have a spare mounted is that because it won’t fit or does it wipe out clearance while crawling?
It doesn’t fit in the factory location. It’s too large. It’s in the bed for now but will make a carrier later
Great video
Thanks! 👊🏻
I was just there for my first time. Was lots of sun was there on last Sunday

37" Pats and stock axles? How's it been holding up?
38s actually. Been holding up great so far. I plan on getting RCVs eventually but no issues to report so far
Take it easy on the drive shaft. Apparently they forgot to put grease in the u joints on a bunch of them.
I saw that, you can input your VIN online and find out if yours was listed for a recall and mine is not. Thanks for the heads up though!

Haha that’s hilarious! Have you seen the footage of the crown vic at moab?
@@BuiltForDirt not yet but I'll look it up 👍
Nice rock crawling! Hope my Launch Addition does not have the recall.
They said it was only 3,400 vehicles that were effected so odds are you are good!
TJ Mitchell Films I’m hoping you are right!
My Launch Edition has the recall... I didn't beat the odds.
J Tyson Davis When was yours built? Another UA-camr said any Gladiator built before June 25th, mine was built June 19th
@@markgosser9578 In June. Don't know the specific day.
Cant wait to see someone 4 link the rear and bob the bed on one of these jeeps
I saw online there was some one who bobbed one already it looked pretty cool
r u running dana 44's? if so, any issues with the 40's?

Ya man that was pretty scary. Glad you made it out alright. Hopefully things open up soon!
Is there a way to communicate privately on here? Ill be headed to The Big bear area oct 8th-11Th if you are interested in hitting some trails there.
DM me on Instagram it’s TJMitchellFilms on there
Where is the trailhead to this trail buddy?
In Shaver Lake off of Dinkey Creek Road.
Come back and run Swamp Lake, Coyote Lake and Mirror lake. Right near bald and way harder/funnier.
They are on my list!
TJ Mitchell Films come back to bald next weekend. It’s moonlight madness. Should be hundreds of rigs and huge party etc.
Is this done on the stock Fox shocks??
They are longer than stock to accommodate for the 3” lift they yes they are fox
Are you going to the run this year?
What run are you referring to?
