Glad to hear Keating is doing well. I would have e done the same thing you did Adelina. It doesn't matter how old your kids are you cannot help but to be Mom and be there for them.
I never comment but I HAD to on this one. First of all, Keaton, I'm so glad you're healing! Take good care of you. Secondly, I'm an only child with a single mom. I'm also a therapist. From both of these perspectives, I want to say how very admirable and relationally healthy this space you've created for "differentiation" is - that you're allowing yourselves to have separate identities and lives. (Adelina, the fact you felt a relieved sense of "coming home" when you landed back on the island - and that you can say that out loud! - speaks volumes and you're doing Keaton a HUGE service in voicing that.) Even though your children are the most important to you understandably, it's incredible that you've fostered your sense of self separate from your role as a mom and created a life that is for YOU - and even moved to fulfill that. I really admire that. I can't tell you how very important this is from a psychological, emotional, and relational perspective. Because now you give yourself and your children the gift of bringing your more fulfilled, whole self into your relationship with them as adults. You're not making them take on the responsibility to fill your void of loss or loneliness that should NOT be their responsibility to fill - although a lot of parents do put that on their children (sometimes unknowingly, other times to manipulate). And as importantly, you send your kids the message that you're owning your own life and happiness. It releases them from a sense of obligation or responsibility to care take or emotionally tip toe around you. I've dealt with enmeshment trauma personally, and I support clients who are trying to heal from enmeshment and get to a healthier place with their mothers when their mothers don't see it or allow it. It's challenging and damaging when parents don't develop their own fulfillment in life separate from their role as parents. So I just wanted to say that it seems like you're both doing a great job!
Thank you, Kat, for commenting. I lost my husband over two years ago, and my daughter is in college. It is sometimes hard to not fall into the trap to cling to your child, but I am working hard on having my own life and letting my daughter live hers. Adelina is such an inspiration to me! My daughter majors in psychology and French. But I know that she is not my therapist. 👍💕
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing that. I think we go along hoping that we're doing enough things right. I'm grateful for your perspective. I do think that living a fulfilling and independent life is important. While I know the kids will always 'take care of me' I don't that to be a burden for them....or an obligation if I'm honest. I'm going to be one of those old crazy ladies living her best life and not giving a damn what anyone else thinks, LOL. But seriously, I hope that how I live my life is an example to them so that they feel brave enough to also reach for their dreams. ❤️😊
@@susanneschaefer2268 Hi Susanne - I am so sorry that you lost your husband. When there's a family loss, our center and identity gets jumbled, and it's natural instinct to want to be close (or get closer) to kids or other family members we have. It sounds like you are doing a great job navigating this because of how aware and conscientious you are of your relationship with your daughter. Even though you're the mom, you, too, very much need mothering and nurturing in everyday life. And if you don't feel like you're getting those needs met, perhaps consider how you might be able to through therapy, friends, experiences, groups, pets, and tools (such as books, journaling, self-compassion work, podcasts, doing grief work, etc). I say this because the more diversified and fulfilling your anchors are for you, the less obligation your kids feel to be your everything and the stronger and freer that makes your relationship with them and allows for a healthy differentiation. Here's a quote I love from Discovering the Inner Mother by Bethany Webster: "Mothers liberate their daughters when they consciously process their own pain without making it their daughter’s problem. In this way, mothers free their daughters to pursue their dreams without guilt, shame or a sense of obligation." Sending you so much warmth and love.
I am so happy your son is okay. I am happy you were able to go and be with him. ❤️🙏 I will keep him in my prayers that he will not get another infection. Your kids are blessed to have such an awesome Mom! 😊
Thank you for sharing. Your children are blessed you're their mama. Please feel able to put these videos on hold when you have to, because children come 1st! 💖
I followed my own path years ago and my kids ended up joining me eventually. Btw I made the peanut sweet potato soup and it was terrific. Used the last bit as a sauce with rice and leftover roasted Vegetables
Dear Adelina and Keaton, I am so relieved to hear that you are both doing better. Thank you so very much for sharing part of your life with us. These videos have been so incredibly helpful for me personally and I am sure for many others. 💕
A Mother’s love is what makes the world a beautiful place. Thank you for being so open and honest about your life. I enjoy listening to you; you’re a voice of reason and calm in a crazy world.
So glad Keaton is ok!! That has to be so scary. Our son moved across the country to chase his dreams, and it was so hard, but it was good for him. We eventually followed to the west. and I was thrilled to be within an hour of my son and his family. That lasted two years and they moved. That was the hardest thing I have ever been though. It did teach me a valuable lesson, once your children are adults, you have to do what is best for YOU. With planes you can be anywhere within a matter of hours. We love our new home and don't regret the move, but it did teach me that you have to do what is best for yourself.
Adelina:. So glad your son,Keaton is on the mend! Thanks for sharing your story with us! No matter how old and capable our offspring get-they are still just "our babes!" and we want to be there to com- fort them when they need us!
Thanks Adelina for sharing this video! Glad everything worked out for you. I too have 2 grown children living and working in New Westminister BC. How we miss them but is so special when we get together! Love your channel and have been a subscriber for awhile. 19:15
Wow Adelina...I never quite new the gist of what you and Keaton were facing. So so happy that Keaton is on the mend. What a nice gesture to see him at the end of your video with such heartfelt words. Our children continue to be our babies no matter what the age. What a relief for Keaton to have you there. Sophie kept me smiling!! What a character. So happy to hear you say that you arrived "Home."
This was a very scary health crisis. I am so glad you were able to be there with Keaton. Glad to hear he is doing better. That's what we do. We are the rock until it's all over and we are alone and then we are jello. Kids always need their mom. Take time to decompress and care for yourself. Sending support for you all-Sue in Michigan
I’m relieved to hear that Keaton is doing much better and that you were able to get to Calgary to take care of him. I too, had moved away from my two children, both of whom also reside in Calgary, and it is really tough to not be there when they need you the most. I can say though, that my eldest when he heard that my husband had been medi-vac’d to Vancouver with Leukaemia, Matthew on his own had done exactly what you had done for Keaton. By the next morning, he had gotten on a plane, flew to Vancouver first to see how his step-father was and then in no time at all he was here by my side on the island and he stayed with me until he knew I would be okay on my own. I have never been more proud then at that moment when my son of 34, had dropped everything, made sure that his wife and year old daughter would be okay and made arrangements for his work just to come out to comfort me, the universe really made me feel like I had done something right. Being a parent, like you said, is my happiest and greatest life experience I have ever had. I couldn’t be more proud, thankful and happy of both my children and 6 grandchildren. Listening to your story and as I’ve followed your journey here on UA-cam from very early on, you have encouraged me, and I’m sure many others, to live a more intentional life. Continue being strong Adelina, you have raised two amazing humans who love you as much as you love them. Being this far away from them is hard but I’m happy that you’re following your dreams just as they are following their own.
Wow! Thanks must have been such a comfort at that terrible time. Your son's instinct shows what a lovely and caring man he is and how well he was raised. How is your husband doing?
Yes, I couldn’t be prouder of the son, husband and father he has turned in to. He was definitely there when I needed a shoulder to lean on. Hubby Dearest has thankfully beat his Leukemia but he is now recuperating from prostrate cancer surgery. Again, we’re thankful that he seems to be on the mend. ps. Your recipe for your Tofu Bites was the first time I had ever tried tofu and it has been our go-to recipe ever since. In fact, I printed it out that same day and it remains pinned on our refrigerator. We both absolutely love them!
That's wonderful that he's on the mend ❤️. That's the tofu recipe that everyone loves, vegan or not. And with the price of meat, it's an economical protein ☺️.
I totally understand!!!! So glad Keaton has healed well, he's such a sweetheart. I may need to face this dilemma when I sell and get my Tiny home built, sometime this year hopefully, as land where I live costs the earth. We'll see.
My heart ❤️ goes out to you as a mother. My son, 35, lives next door but I still feel for him when things aren't going well. Motherhood is a lifetime "job".
Thoughts and whole hearted prayers to you and Keton! Thank u for sharing your story. I’m here to stay! Les mando un fuerte abrazo y mil bendiciones ~dalia
I am so with you on this because both my boys are military and are always stationed so far from home. No matter how old or how far away they are still your babies and the worries can overwhelm you. Hugs to you and don't beat yourself up...they know you are always there.
Oh I am so glad Keaton has recovered. I can imagine how overwhelmed with emotion you were when you returned. Your are a lovely person and so is Keaton. And I’m sure Jamie is also. I have a niece with type one diabetes. Last year she had a breast reduction because she was having issues with her back. She had waited years for this but the poor girl also has had open heart surgery and her doctors were reluctant to operate. Anyhow she had lots of problems with healing. It got to the point where they were actually considering using leeches! I had never heard of such a thing and learnt a lot about type one diabetes and the problems with them healing from wounds. It was an eye opener. I have a lot of sympathy and respect for anyone living with diabetes and now realize how serious this can be. Like you said let’s hope Keaton never has to go thru that again. Virtual hug to you.
I'm glad Keaton is alright now. I'm sure it helped having you there. I'm super glad it didn't go systemic. Please go immediately for medical care if anything like that happens again. Parents need to live their dreams, too.
Oh one more thing. I wondered where you were! When i didnt see your video.. i began to wonder what was going on. Dont ever feel bad about taking a break for any reason. Take care!
Hey Beautiful lady. So glad to hear Keaton is doing well. It is scary to hear news like this. I don't know what it's like to have a child with diabetes but I can only imagine what it was like. I worry about my children too. I'm lucky enough to have 3 out of 4 living with me. And I worry every day about my 1 son who doesn't live here. He's only an hour away but if something should, God forbid, happen to him, you can bet I'd be there like the wind. We are a close family. Even with my parents. Don't get me started on them. Lol. I worry more than ever about them. Anywho, children are God sent and if He's willing to give them to you, you bet you're going to take care of them. When my oldest daughter lived away from me I worried but knew she was in good hands. So happy you were able to go be with Keaton. Hope you got to see Jamie too while you were there. Huge hugs and loves sent to you from NE Minnesota.
This video brought tears to my eyes, Adelina. You are such a good story teller about stories of your life that matter. I'm so thankful you could go see Keaton and that he recovered in a timely matter. I appreciate each and every video you make. Are you able to tell us what your mailing address is for your postal box? Thanks for being you!❤😊Sue
Hello Sue. Thank you. Being a mom is my greatest privilege. The mailing address should be in the About section but here it is as well: PO Box 136 Black Creek BC V9J 1K8 Canada
Thank you Adelina! It is so delightful that you live in the area I grew up in and where I had such a wonderful childhood 5 minutes drive from Saratoga Beach. Have a beautiful weekend! ♥ 💐 ☺ Sue
❤ Nice to hear that you and your son, Keaton are doing well. Mother’s will always be by their children’s side. No matter what. That is a mother’s love❤️ take care of yourself and your family 🫶🙏 sending prayers, love and hugs.🙏💕
Hello Adelina! So glad to hear Keaton Is doing better. Nothing rocks our world more than when our kids are hurting or struggling. You are both fortunate to have each other. He seems like an amazing young man! Reminds me of my oldest! Take care of yourself. Look forward to all your videos. Thanks again!
Recently until my husband passed and we were living in another country. Glad to be home and closer to family again. Now i have Great grandbabies. I am hoping to see one of them in late March. Home now is living with my elderly Mum and taking care of her with my SIL who has just moved in after losing her 21 yr old to cancer. Blessed to have the support we ladies have with each other. What one can not do the other can. Family is SO Important. HUGS and smiles from snowy Northern OK Valley. =)
I am so pleased Keaton is on the mend. My very wise late mother once told me “When your children are little, their problems are little. When they get bigger, the problems get bigger”. It’s life isn’t it? And we never stop being there for them. There is nothing quite like a mother’s love 💕 thank you so much for sharing another special video x
So happy Keaton is recovering and will be back to normal soon. Adelina, what an amazing mom you are and have been for your kids. It is tough and heartbreaking at times, but oh how precious they are at all ages! So glad we were chosen for them to bless our lives.
So glad that Keaton is better and so are you! Thank you for sharing this personal (and stressful) experience. Sending lots of love and healing thoughts out west ❤🙏😻
I’m glad your son is much better, that must’ve been quite the scare. Both our boys headed west just out of high school. We raised them to be independent, self-sufficient and adventurous, just like you did. Like you, my husband and I have an adventurous nature and we’ve enjoyed living in several different places from Nova Scotia to Ontario and now Alberta, each move meeting and making amazing friends along the way. Never let anyone make you feel like a bad mother for moving away, you raised your kids into fantastic adults choosing their own lives living wherever they want to, and now it’s your turn, you’ve done your job and you did your job well, now you can be there for support whether you’re near or far, but the raising days are over, they’re their own persons now with the knowledge they can always turn to you wherever you are. Love your videos, you’re so honest and and ‘real’.
Thank you. We raise our children to go out and face the world. That often does (and should) result in them living away. I fee about me moving the same way. Giving them the gift of being independent and having to figure things out in their own while knowing I'm not far away if they need me. ☺️
So glad Keaton is doing fine. My daughter is 38 and lives an hour away. The week before Christmas she caught the virus. She is a single mom. My grandson is four years old, non-verbal and autistic. I am thankful that I was able to be there in an hour and take care of her and my grandson. Life is so precious and things can change in a second.
Your son reminds me of mine and I can totally understand your love and care! I too would find it very hard to be away! Thank you for sharing and will keep you and your family in my prayers! ❤️💯🙏🏻
Being a Mum of two, fully grown kids, I found myself running the gamut of emotions with you Adelina! It’s so true, we never stop carrying for them and worrying about there wellbeing. Very happy to know Keaton is okay and loved the supportive and loving clip he made for you. ❤️
Prayers for Keaton’s continued healing 🙏💕 Glad you were able to be with him & he’s doing better now. Kudos to you for also taking some much needed time for yourself afterwards too. Have done a lot of family caretaking myself. We just go into a mode of doing what we need to do at the time. I can relate & understand the emotions that come rushing in after the fact. Hugs to you Mom 💗
What a wonderful story of Mama To The Rescue! I’ve been there…. And it is so hard but also so powerful when you go through it. Your love for your kids is evident. Blessings. ❤❤
I am happy that Keaton is healing! I am beyond happy about your finding "home" :) ... I am not a parent. I am a 67 year old child! And I have a 65 year old sibling. We have an 88 year old mother married to a 75 year old man. He is not as healthy as she is. My sibling and I live opposite ends of the US and parent is 1400/1800 miles from us. Bottom line, it is challenging (to say the least) to be distant and to negotiate the "separate identities" (@Kat). Thank you for sharing your experience.
I think that many here would agree with me that we appreciate you sharing so much of not only the ups but the downs of your life. I appreciate that Keaton was also willing, because this is similar to what so many have experienced. I am 64 and not a parent, except for a dog 😃, but in our humanity, we are all vulnerable to the challenges that life brings through illness or separation from our loved ones. You, however, are a very positive and grateful woman, a huge blessing to your kids and all of us as well.
Your kids are so blessed to have you as a Mom. Our only child was born Type 1, and it was scary, especially during growth spurts, and when he became allergic to the insulin he was on, and they had to make a new one. We were told he probably wouldn't live to adulthood. Type 1 kids are some of the most mature, responsible people around. Most folks do not know that diabetes is the leading cause of limb amputation and blindness. especially with adult onset type2.
I'm so glad they found an insulin that worked for him. Yes, growth spurts and adolescence were challenging times for us too. I agree with you that they mature early. ☺️❤️
I am so relieved that Keaton is on the mend. You are an amazing mother and I 100% understand the challenges of being a province away from our children. I believe that you have raised confident and independent children and they will thrive because of that! The world needs more moms like you!
So glad Keaton is feeling better and it was great to see him at the end. Love hearing that they are so supportive of you. That speaks to you being a great mom!!♥♥ Keaton, have a great week. Glad you're feeling better!
So happy you are ok Keaton! What a scary ordeal to go through. Adelina, you are a fierce Momma Bear when it comes to your kids as I am. I have three grown sons and nothing would stop me from being with them when they needed me. But we are wise enough to live our own lives and not smother them. Let's all enjoy the warmer days that are coming!
I feel your pain. It doesn't matter how old they are they will always be your baby. ❣️ Specially being Portuguese it's in our blood to over nurture our kids 😆 Enjoy your weekend my friend.
I have lived away from my kids for a good part of their adult lives and I completely understand how hard it is. There is guilt and fear for them. You do what you can to support them from a distance and go when things call for it. In some instances it has helped them be more self sufficient, so there is a up side to it, as well. I'm glad you were able to go and that K is so much better. Take it a little easy on yourself, GF!
Understand. My daughter type 1 since 10. She moved away. We retired near her. Three years later, she had a pancreas/kidney transplant. So glad we made the decision to move. ( not too close😂). God is good.
Thanks for sharing I 🙏🙏he continues to get better as a mom I understand . Being far from our kids can be hard when they get sick u understand. My son is almost 2 hours away and hard and not even as far as your son was . . 🙏🙏❤️your way. You sophie is cute .
I just want to hug you 😞! Let me briefly tell you my story. In 2020 we wound up at a major Michigan hospital with my only son. He is now 34 and he had a leaking brain anurysm. We almost lost him 3 times that summer. He also came home with IV antibiotics for staff and one other infection. Our dr's called them the big guns. We gave the meds to him for almost 6 weeks at home. As a mom, i feel your fear and anexiety ♥️♥️. Know that moms across the world totally understand how you feel. Thank God they got it under control. Sending you love and warm huggs .
@@myBIGtinyhouselife He is recovered as much as he ever will. He is doing very well, working and helping his wife care for their children. A dear dear friend once said to me.. you have to love your kids where they are at, Also love like there is no tomorrow because tomorrow may never come ♥️.
Sending love to you and your kids ❤. So sorry that Keaton is dealing with an infection, sending him good healing vibes. Sharing the situation is a good reminder for us non-diabetics to be thankful for our health & situation. It can be so tough to be away from your loved ones in tough times.
So glad to hear Keaton is okay. I am one of the squeamish ones, so I didn't watch that part. lol I think your relationship with your kids is awesome, Adelina. I believe Keaton when he says you are an awesome Mom. Much love to you all. ♥♥♥
I've enjoyed your videos for a long time and want to especially thank you for this heart centered topic. I'm very happy that your son is now doing well and was especially wonderful to watch his message at the end. As a mother, really I get it - the lifelong love and care for our children is terrific, wonderful, and powerful. I especially appreciate you sharing this even as you are healthily taking care of yourself and your own dreams and needs.
Thanks for sharing your experience and feelings. I feel you - I moved across a continent and across an international border to be close to my daughter. Totally get it. I'm grateful you could be there with him (obviously he is too). I love how attached Sophie is to you and wants to help you feel better by being in close contact with you. Made me smile.
Their is nothing like a mother’s love❤

Kids are very important for sure. Thank you ❤
Yes they are!
I can't help but think that Keaton got some of his "Super Power" from you.
You are a great mom!
That's such a nice thing to say! I sometimes think that it's the other way around. He's always been like that and I've always admired it.
I do hear you. Good morning h!

Glad to hear Keaton is doing well - his little clip at the end shows a man that loves his mom and isn't afraid to say so.

Good job mama !!! I adore my kids. My dream was to live where my youngest is. So here I am. Hubby just retired.
That is awesome!

Hi Jay 😊. It's true. No matter how old or big, they're always those little babies in our eyes. ❤️
Keaton has such a beautiful spirit. So glad he's healing!
He really does ☺️❤️
Keaton, you are a great son.
I totally agree ☺️❤️
This was a very scary health crisis. I am so glad you were able to be there with Keaton. Glad to hear he is doing better. That's what we do. We are the rock until it's all over and we are alone and then we are jello. Kids always need their mom. Take time to decompress and care for yourself. Sending support for you all-Sue in Michigan
Yes, mom's always make things better, ☺️❤️.
Great message about you from your son❤
☺️
I’m so grateful to hear your son is healing and you are ‘ home’ ! It’s wonderful to come into your space and feel grounded and at peace!🙏🏻💕🌸
Thanks 😊.
I totally understand!!!! So glad Keaton has healed well, he's such a sweetheart. I may need to face this dilemma when I sell and get my Tiny home built, sometime this year hopefully, as land where I live costs the earth. We'll see.
I hope it works out for you. 😊❤️
My heart ❤️ goes out to you as a mother. My son, 35, lives next door but I still feel for him when things aren't going well. Motherhood is a lifetime "job".
The best 'job' in the world ☺️❤️.
Thoughts and whole hearted prayers to you and Keton! Thank u for sharing your story. I’m here to stay! Les mando un fuerte abrazo y mil bendiciones ~dalia
Thank you Dalia. Hugs to you too.
I am so with you on this because both my boys are military and are always stationed so far from home. No matter how old or how far away they are still your babies and the worries can overwhelm you. Hugs to you and don't beat yourself up...they know you are always there.
I'm sure you can relate. Take care.
Thanks so much. I hope your niece is ok ❤️. Keaton's doing great. He has such a good energy that nothing keeps him down for long ☺️❤️
I'm glad Keaton is alright now. I'm sure it helped having you there. I'm super glad it didn't go systemic.
Please go immediately for medical care if anything like that happens again.
Parents need to live their dreams, too.
He's definitely learned a lesson. He'll go straight to emerg if anything like that happens again. Let's hope it never does though 🙏🏼☺️❤️
Prayers for Keaton to continue his health journey. You’re a great mom.
Thank you. He's doing well ❤️.
Oh one more thing. I wondered where you were! When i didnt see your video.. i began to wonder what was going on.
Dont ever feel bad about taking a break for any reason.
Take care!
😊❤️
I am so so glad that Keaton is okay. You are a beautiful, strong mom. Stay strong! Sending love your way.
Thank you 😁❤️
Funny, when I get off the ferry, I let out a huge sigh and all is good in the world . My stress melts away. It truly is a magical place.
Me too! ☺️
Adelina, I’m so glad you are doing better, and that Keaton is healing! ❤❤❤
I’m so happy that Keegan is recovering. A good mom never stops being a mom.
Thank you. Me too! ☺️
How scary for all of you. I’m glad to hear that Keaton is feeling much better. So nice to see his sound bite at the end! Cheers from Calgary.
He's better now and hopefully we'll never have to go through that again 🙏🏼☺️
Hi! Yes I got to see Jamie too which was so nice ☺️❤️.
The mailing address should be in the About section but here it is as well:
PO Box 136
Black Creek BC V9J 1K8
Canada
Thank you Adelina! It is so delightful that you live in the area I grew up in and where I had such a wonderful childhood 5 minutes drive from Saratoga Beach. Have a beautiful weekend! ♥ 💐 ☺ Sue
❤ Nice to hear that you and your son, Keaton are doing well. Mother’s will always be by their children’s side. No matter what. That is a mother’s love❤️ take care of yourself and your family 🫶🙏 sending prayers, love and hugs.🙏💕
We appreciate that so much 😊❤️.
What a scary time for you. I am glad that he has gotten better and things go well. Sophie has such a cute personality.
Thanks. Yes, she's a snuggle bug.
Thank you 😊❤️
🥺 I know that’s been tough for you.
Yes, we ladies have to support one another 😊❤️.
So happy that turned out well, Mama Bear. I feel this in my soul as well, miss my daughter more than any million dollar view could offer!
❤️
I am so pleased Keaton is on the mend. My very wise late mother once told me “When your children are little, their problems are little. When they get bigger, the problems get bigger”. It’s life isn’t it? And we never stop being there for them. There is nothing quite like a mother’s love 💕 thank you so much for sharing another special video x
So true. Thank you ❤️
So happy Keaton is recovering and will be back to normal soon. Adelina, what an amazing mom you are and have been for your kids. It is tough and heartbreaking at times, but oh how precious they are at all ages! So glad we were chosen for them to bless our lives.
Yes, I'm glad I get to be their mom 😊❤️.
So glad that Keaton is better and so are you! Thank you for sharing this personal (and stressful) experience. Sending lots of love and healing thoughts out west ❤🙏😻
Thanks so much! ☺️❤️
That's is so true! I'm glad you were able to be there to take care of them both ❤️.
Your son went through such a traumatic time. I am so very happy he is better. Blessings to you both. Happy you are very peaceful in your new home. 🏡💕
Thank you ☺️❤️.
Your son reminds me of mine and I can totally understand your love and care! I too would find it very hard to be away! Thank you for sharing and will keep you and your family in my prayers! ❤️💯🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
Sorry for you and keaton having a hard time. So glad he's doing better because rhat means you're doing better.
Thank you ❤️☺️.
You’re a wonderful mother. I saw Keaton at Christmas and noticed his wonderful spirit. Like yours!
He's a light. ❤️
So kind of you to share. Blessings on you and your children. As a Mom, I get it.
Love the visit from Keaton.
Hugs!
Thanks 😊❤️
Being a Mum of two, fully grown kids, I found myself running the gamut of emotions with you Adelina! It’s so true, we never stop carrying for them and worrying about there wellbeing. Very happy to know Keaton is okay and loved the supportive and loving clip he made for you. ❤️
Thank you! Yep, no matter how tall they get they're still our babies ☺️❤️.
Adelina I'm so glad Keaton is doing better!! Yes you worry about your children no matter how old they are!!🙏❤️♥️🙏
They're always our babies. 😁
@@myBIGtinyhouselife🥰
Prayers for Keaton’s continued healing 🙏💕 Glad you were able to be with him & he’s doing better now. Kudos to you for also taking some much needed time for yourself afterwards too. Have done a lot of family caretaking myself. We just go into a mode of doing what we need to do at the time. I can relate & understand the emotions that come rushing in after the fact. Hugs to you Mom 💗
Thanks 😊❤️
So glad things are better now. How scary. 😮😮😮
Thanks 😊 ❤️
What a wonderful story of Mama To The Rescue! I’ve been there…. And it is so hard but also so powerful when you go through it. Your love for your kids is evident. Blessings. ❤❤
Mama bear had to go take care of her cub ☺️.
Thank you 😊.
Love
Glad to hear Keaton is ok. What a scary time for both of you.
I'm just glad it's over ☺️❤️
I think that many here would agree with me that we appreciate you sharing so much of not only the ups but the downs of your life.
Thank you ❤️.
Thank you! ❤️
So glad Keaton is feeling better and it was great to see him at the end. Love hearing that they are so supportive of you. That speaks to you being a great mom!!♥♥ Keaton, have a great week. Glad you're feeling better!
Thank you 😊❤️.
Thank you. Yes we mama bears will always protect our cubs 😊❤️.
I feel your pain. It doesn't matter how old they are they will always be your baby. ❣️ Specially being Portuguese it's in our blood to over nurture our kids 😆 Enjoy your weekend my friend.
Thank you! ❤️
Sending huge healing love to both of you. Amazing family. 💖💖
Thank you!
Thanks! 🙏🏼😊
Understand. My daughter type 1 since 10. She moved away. We retired near her. Three years later, she had a pancreas/kidney transplant. So glad we made the decision to move. ( not too close😂). God is good.
I hope your daughter is doing well ❤️.
@@myBIGtinyhouselife she is doing amazing. She knows that there will be challenges ahead, but right now doing great.
❤️☺️I'm glad.
Thanks for sharing I 🙏🙏he continues to get better as a mom I understand . Being far from our kids can be hard when they get sick u understand. My son is almost 2 hours away and hard and not even as far as your son was . . 🙏🙏❤️your way. You sophie is cute .
Please subscribe if your not already it’s a great channel help support 👍👍👍
Thank you! Yes she is 🐈❤️
😁
Thank you ❤️. I'm constantly reminded that things could always be worse and how fortunate we are. That's so scary! How is your son now??
@@myBIGtinyhouselife He is recovered as much as he ever will. He is doing very well, working and helping his wife care for their children.
A dear dear friend once said to me.. you have to love your kids where they are at, Also love like there is no tomorrow because tomorrow may never come ♥️.
Both of those quotes are golden ❤️❤️
Sending love to you and your kids ❤. So sorry that Keaton is dealing with an infection, sending him good healing vibes. Sharing the situation is a good reminder for us non-diabetics to be thankful for our health & situation. It can be so tough to be away from your loved ones in tough times.
Thank you. He's much better now thankfully 😊❤️
Amazing, so good to hear ❤ just got to the clip at the end with Keaton, so sweet!
Sending my love from far away Greece! I have 2 children and I know exactly how you feel. So happy Keaton is better. ❤
Thank you ☺️❤️.
Omg! What an ordeal! You’re such a good mama and I’m so glad it all worked out. ❤️❤️
I'm just glad it's over ☺️❤️.
So glad to hear Keaton is okay. I am one of the squeamish ones, so I didn't watch that part. lol I think your relationship with your kids is awesome, Adelina. I believe Keaton when he says you are an awesome Mom. Much love to you all. ♥♥♥
Thanks so much 😁.

Thank you, I appreciate your words so much ❤️.
She's a total snuggle bug 🐈❤️
