Getting ready to do this after switching to a manual CAD cable. The amount of hardware to engage the front axle and turn a light on is ridiculous! This will help a bunch. And helped me understand how all that works a lot better.
DUDE!!! This was an awesome video!!! Thank you so much, Stuart Mair is right, can you put some part names and numbers? I need to get those connectors that you used, it was fantasitic.
Hello So after seeing your video i have tried to research your idea… sure not having a great deal of luck. Question is, how long ago did you do this conversation and how is it working out for you?
Had the cad delete done for about a year now. Saw this video and some others on it. I just did it except my problem is 4wd light now stays on in 2wd too. It’s def not in 4wd and I had no light at all until I just did this. Any thoughts?
I added affiliate links to the description for all the parts and tools I used in this video. Hope it helps!

Those pesky Jeep engineers in the 80s definitely put a lot of effort into this system haha
Great video. I will attempt this soon. Thanks a million!
Can you list the part names numbers please. Awesome video, super clear to follow. Thanks
Thanks. Did a cad elim and was looking for a part number for that switch
Thanks for sharing, such a great idea!

I managed to do mine without lowering the Tcase... I think I still have a cramp from reaching and stretching xD

Could be a bad switch, or maybe the wrong switch, or the switch is threaded in too far. Something keeping the button on the end pressed maybe.
Hi,
Just curious as to what gage wire did you use? 14AWG?
Yeah, 16 or 18 would be fine too
@@HardEarnedBacon thanks man
@@HardEarnedBacon oh I had one question. In trying to remove the old Tcase switch, what size of deep socket do I need to remove it? 1”?
