I think if your arms are lagging, then adding an arm day to PPL does wonders. You are still hitting the muscle groups twice every week. I did PPL for a year. Switching to PPAL helped me finally grow my arms!

Bro listen when u go stronger u need to cut out your volume reason is this -yes u need to train twice a week to generate maximum stimulus for your muscle to grow but when u train with intensity from starting u will see result , when u get stronger now u can lift heavier weights cause u get bigger but your nervous system is still same so to train with high intensity with heavier wieghts u need to cut out volume cause nevous system fatigue is quick when u train with heavy weights with slow eccentric and maximum intensity..... As per saket ghosle his workouts are high intensity with heavier weight so his volumes are low

And people should do the same if their main goal is to build muscle long term.

I was following a PPL split and did see any significant change in my Arms... but, since I started following Saket's workout and added an arm day, my arms have responded very well... IMO they should be trained separately and fresh for better results.
It is great that it worked out for you. Even in that case you can have an upper lower upper lower and arms day. Problem solved. My suggestion is to train each muscle 2x in 7 days.
