Yatty Chan Honestly after seeing both, I strongly prefer the normal ending. I absolutely loved the game though (I think that's because of Defect Mogeko and his rocket launcher) but the ending just screwed with me too much. The brother part seemed rushed, and was just kinda there at the end.
CinderBros I agree. (Defect Mogeko and his rocket launcher is my favorite too.) Her brother was only mentioned like twice, (Besides flashbacks) that part came too quick and lasted too short. The only thing I can applaud about her brother was that I doubt anyone expected him to be a psychopath.

CinderBros The thing why she is happy after killing him is because her brother came back to normal and now she doesn't have to be afraid of anything (in one of the endings it says mogekos are bad dreams so it is the samething the person is afraid of so not everyone can go to mogeko castle and not everyone will have the same background and story) and now her brother is free mogeko castle is kind of stange but the story is hard to understand alittle (strange) ㅡㅡ;
you did a great job making the remake of the song. but i don't really think the instruments didn't really catch the theme of the song. its not really a energetic electric song, its more of a calm happy song as i think of the "happy end" when i hear it. please don't take this as a negitive comment i really love the editing and you most likely spent a good amount of time and work into this.
threeitalianplumbers I don't think so. Yume Nikki was made by Kikiyama, and Mogeko Castle was made by Mogeko Deep-Sea Prisoner. They may be the same person of course, but I doubt that; these two games' styles are just too different

I've played trough Ib, The Witch's House and Mad Father but didn't knew of this game.
Played trough it today, it was really disappointing.
I love Mogeko castle, I thought the plot was interesting. Though I do have to say, the "happy" end wasn't happy in the slightest.
