Ugh I have goosebumps hearing all the instruments and synth patterns so clean. Just had to comment again; really beautiful rework of this older album. I’m so happy I found this 🥰
As someone who leans towards bright, clean audio, this is a great remaster. I usually EQ the highs up when listening to this album so this is perfect. The spread and colour is marvelous.
This is amazing! I’m an early fan of Owl City as well (since about 2009). I tried remastering Fuzzy Blue Lights once with some of my own software but couldn’t quite separate the instrumentals and vocals to get a very good sound. I clicked only thinking I would listen to some of this and listen to the rest later but after the first few seconds I was hooked and finished the whole thing. Absolutely amazing work! You may be getting an email from me pretty soon. :)
I remember listening to this in middle school and hearing Adam explain working a job he hated with constant insomnia, but I could only hear the imagination back then. Now that I'm an adult, the aching and yearning for more are so palpable, I also want to pack my bag for California.
Wow I had the exact same experience. In middle school and high school, I thought his songs were so dreamy and happy, now 10 years later I’m listening again and realizing all the difficulty he went through and how prevalent it is in his songs.
Really nice work!! Sounds sooo clean! You kept the spirit of Adam’s early music and made it sound like it was produced like… not back in 2007. Great remaster!!!
Tysm! Btw, I can't make the files available for download because of copyright. Only the label has legal rights for distribution. Sorry! I have also mentioned this in the video description.
They're by a guy named Adam Young. You may have heard his songs "Fireflies," "Good Time," "When Can I See You Again," and(or) Shooting Star, etc under his group name of Owl City. I wish some of these more nostalgic and soft songs went viral, tho.
No, it was not possible. I had full mixes, that I had to do processing on. I didn't have multitracks or stems. But yes, I did try to control those vocals by applying strategical processing on the whole mix, while still making the final mixes sound bright to shift the focus of the listener from the artifacts of lossy encoding that were present in all of the official mixes. If I had not controlled the high end, then it'd have become hard to make the mixes sound bright, without them sounding extremely harsh and fatiguing. The final mixes you hear in the video are still bright and may sound a bit harsh, but they are not extremely harsh as they would have been, had I not controlled the high end, during the processing. If you want to, you can read video description for more details. Thanks for reading!
one of my favorite albums in my early college days, i feel like I'm hearing it for the first time again. This is great!

I THINK MY OLDER BROTHER ONLY LISTENED TO THE ALBUM OF JUNE AND MAYBE IM DREAMING SINCE HE WAS A MUSIC GUY IN 2001- AND QUITTED A DECADE LATER
❤️❤️❤️yay 💯💯😍
🔥🔥🖤
I love this album so much!
This is the one and only time autotune is actually beautiful
I feel like he used something like Melodyne to manually tune his voice rather than having the computer doing it for him.
Either way, I agree with you.

Hey, is this downloadable in HQ using FLAC or any other file type?
This is your song?

Do you have a de esser running on the vocals?
