Whoo! This was awesome. I wish she had more time to share her story. I feel as though Danessa stayed true to her artful approach, and she still took the time to explain her story (even though it was shortened) and demonstrate her techniques (blending). Sometimes listening to ones story and way of doing things is a lesson within itself. I also think this artful aesthetic type approach of Danessa’s was very advanced for some of the audience. Danessa’s approach to a “Beat Face” is very different than most and I can really appreciate that. Ive been demonstrating some of these same techniques in my photography and makeup application. Great Job @danessaMyricks
The host drove me crazy. Gawd I felt bad for Danessa. It’s like they wanted blood. Answer questions, give advice, tell her story, do a makeup...then tell her she’s out of time. Really? Omg!
Danessa is a TRUE ARTIST! The way she approaches makeup is so ingenious and creative. Nobody does skin like her. Some of UA-cam and IG influencers should take a page out of her book instead of going so heavy handed with makeup.
This hostess was abysmal! How embarrassing! What’s with the Pop-quiz for free books! I sincerely hope that @danessamyricks was not put off from returning to Africa to share her amazing skills and products! I’m watching this in June 2019. Has she ever returned to the continent?
Danessa is a gifted artist. Seems to be a nice person too. If you do more make up classes; consider keeping the camera on the artist and the work they’re creating. Don’t cut to the people in the audience.
If she’s a novice she shouldn’t be a host (infact they don’t need a host!!!) and they need to have a better layout next time for Miss Danessa next time she visits Naija. This was very aggravating to watch. I couldn’t learn anything. Please Nigeria do a better job next time.
All the makeup artists choose to demonstrate us make up to very young, beautiful models with perfect skin. It is the same as you put anything on the Victoria’s Secrets Models and it ends up to look perfect whatever they wear. I am wondering could anyone shows us makeup technics on ordinary people at different ages, with imperfections as we are the most?
The model here wasnt 'perfect', no one is :) She had texture and such (which is beautiful~). I recommended checking out Danessa's demo from IMATS here on YT and also checking out content from Ms Bobbi Brown💜✨ Best of luck!!
I'm a makeup artist and I have never seen anybody as inspiring as Danessa! This was so so inspiring and helpful

right i was thinking the same
Calvin Brockington same, can’t stand her. I want to hear Danessa and her techniques and story not the host.
Right! People always rushing to the makeup. Yes it’s important but there’s so much more than just the actual makeup demo.
Your art is always flawless. I wish you had more videos.
What a brilliant and inspirational lady! I wish I heard someone like her in my younger years!
I love her! I love her concepts on make-up application and theory.
Beautiful work 💋💋
I am even more inspired as a new makeup artist. Wow!
Love her, so humble
She is amazing
The host was so annoying. Why was she on the stage the entire time? Let her do her presentation and demonstration with no interruptions. My Gawd

The most unprofessional host I have ever seen on any platform.

The host was under time pressure.....education of products and understanding is more important as well.
