Thank you so much Ben! I’m building up my balloon business and learning balloons techniques. This video helped me to understand how to work on the price etc. Thank you.
Hi Leena I was looking at this video on candy carts....and saw your comment . How's your balloon business doing...I'm also building my balloon/event business
@@angelgirl6837 Hello dear, It is harder than what I originally thought and combining that with my 9-5 is very difficult. In all honesty, getting clients or creating content to attract customers has been difficult for me. However, I’m not going to give up. I’m taking it one step at the time. Wishing you all the best
Please...if you do decide to sell please keep us informed. I'm with you on the carts that can breakdown, they are not quality and dont look great like yours.. I'm really interested in buying one from you also
An idea to solve your shipping problem is for you to make the plans with exact measurements, supplies list and a link to a diy video. So say $25-$50 for the plans and we deal with all the materials and build. Win win. Thanks for posting!
Hi, thanks for watching. And yes that is the plan I have been working on for now. I am working on a smaller, easier candy cart build that should be out hopefully this month. And then I will do another one that is similar to the one in the video. Hopefully some day I can create candy carts that can be assembled and ship those, but that would be a while. But your idea is exactly what I am thinking for now. Thank you so much for commenting!
Hi there, I noticed those white cylinder plinths risers in the background. Did you make those as well? If so can you show us how or at least the materials used?
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes I made those cylinder plinths. It was pretty simple and I still have some material left over that I can make a small one to show everybody. Give me some time and I will put together a video about them. Thanks.
@@nathanlucas6465 I bent it my self. I used a metal bender that I had from harbor freight. It was meant for pipe bending but it worked for sqaure pipe to be bent too. It just took some practice to get the same shape.
hi I would love to see any plans of the progress of anything that's similar to the wagon cart that's foldable or easy to take apart/put together. I need to build one for my fiance since she will be selling little canddles at a market place. thank you and I think your carts look really good man ! props !!🎉
Thank you so much, I am currently working on the plans for a foldable cart. The video is on my channel DIY Candy Cart. I should have the plans available by Monday on our Etsy store. Thank you!
@@MakerDecor yeah I just saw that video ! It looks really good and I like how you point out about the gloss paint for a longer life without and any cup cake stains. I'm liking what I see so far man you just got yourself another sub lol thank you again
Hi . I am a new Subbie. Your craftsmanship is awesome. You can convert one business into 2 businesses. Just reading these comments you already have potential customers. Including myself 🤣 please consider selling your products including neon signs. Best wishes
Hi thank you so much for watching and subbing. And thank you hopefully some time in the future I can build products to sell. For now it is just the plans on how to. Thank you!
Ah your video is so informative. Thank you so much!! Maybe a tip: when you talk, you look behind you every time. And thats a little annoying with the sound. But.. its just a tip. Hope you will get a lot off business in the future! ✨ Question; do you see less requests now during covid?
Hi thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah I am definitely not comfortable in front of a camera and hope I am getting better over time. Also I have been looking into getting a mic that would attach to me since I do look around a lot to avoid the camera😂. To your question we have not been taking any new events for a while and just finishing up events that were previously booked. And I have been pretty busy making content for this channel. But we started when Vid started and the business grew way faster than I thought. People were always having small family gatherings/ drive by parties and just wanted backdrops or candy carts for photos that would give them memories of the event. I cant imagine how business is now but I'm pretty sure it is even more busy than a year ago.
Hi thanks for watching. That would be awesome and hopefully some time in the future. I will definitely let you know and post a video if I ever get to that stage. Thank you!
Hi, thanks so much for watching the video. I do not sell candy carts, I only built these for our business a while back. Right now I am working on plans for people to build their own candy carts. Hopefully it will be out in a month or so and be available on our Etsy store. Thank you.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I definitely agree and we had stopped renting them by themselves and would only rent them as a add on to packages for an increased price. It wasn't worth the time when we were able to rent it out with balloons and backdrops for more. So when we booked it for that price we wouldn't be able to offer it in other packages that day, so we stopped renting by itself. Also it does depend on your market. As I am in a much smaller market in San Antonio, TX than NYC. Here we had people renting the candy cart with balloons for $175, with free delivery. And their was a lot of them in that price range, but their candy cart and balloons did not look like ours. You are right if I would to do it over again I would probably look for the $225- to $250 range just for the cart, plus delivery fee here where I am located. Thanks for your comment!
Hi, thanks for watching. For your first question, that is a good idea. I did not and we were lucky enough to not have any issues. But that was risky and don't recommend it. I didn't mind so much as I built it pretty easy and if I needed to fix anything it wouldn't be difficult. If they stole it, I would of been out of luck lol. But when we started I had no idea what we were doing and it just took off so fast and I learned more as we went. We did events for almost two years before my wife and sister decided they did not want to continue with the business. I just kept going with the UA-cam channel due to all the requests about building props. Oh and yes to your second question, we did have small contract I wrote up but I didn't really count on it because I don't know how much that would of helped in court. But now there are a lot of resources out there and people who sell their contract templates. You can also have a lawyer create one for you as well. I hope this information helps you out and good luck!
Hi thanks for watching. I am still finishing up the cart plans. Hopefully by this Monday. Here is the link to the Etsy store. Thank you. www.etsy.com/shop/MakerDecor

Hi, thanks so much for watching and commenting. Yes definitely thinking of how to create the candy carts to sell, If I am able to do it. I will post it on here. I am located in San Antonio, TX. As for the IG I am going to be putting one together for this channel soon.
I would pay for shipping fir one if your custom built! God bless you for sharing ! I wish you and your wife so much success! Better yet I would be will to have you fly to California build one for me ! I
Hi thanks for watching. The size of the candy cart is 2ft wide x 4 ft long ish for the base. Most of the candy carts I build follow close to this size. As it gives good depth to place snacks on top and long enough not to look short.

What materials are they made from??
Do you ask for a security deposit in case customers damage the cart or have a liability contract they sign beforehand :)?
