- 2-11 Alarm fire at a Parking Garage, 17 E Adams, broke out shorty after 1pm in the afternoon of downtown Chicago. 6 vehicles were destroyed by fire and 6 other vehicles were damaged due to the fire, no one was injured.

Great catch and videoing this fire for such long time! I know your arm felt like it was about to fall off but you keep the action coming! I am a retired (captain) firefighter but started volunteering with our city fire department seversl years back. We recently held an exercise with this same scenairo in one of our many growing mulit-level parking garages in the city, simulating multiple vehicles on fire on the 5th and 6th level of a parking garage. It is an eye opener and a reality check in just how labor and resource intensive it is in managing one of these fires. So I could feel what the interior firefighters were going through as they connected and went to each level from the stairwell! Grest job by CFD!!!
