Trivia: Hokkaido University is HUGE! Maybe there should be even bigger universities in the world but this is really big for a small country like Japan. Well, everything in Hokkaido is in a bigger scale than main land. Streets are bigger, lands are bigger. Unlike Tokyo, the distance to the next-door house is longer. People often say "Hokkaido is Dekkaido". ("Dekkai" means big!)

Did you watch Tokyo Olympic 2020 marathon on TV yet? It was held a few hours ago today and coincidentally athletes were running in Hokkaido University just as seen in this video. I checked their website and their information center is open from 8:30am to 17:00pm. So I guess the campus may be the same. But if I remember correctly, I guess I took a walk after 17:00pm before... Hmmm sorry... But thanks so much for watching! 😄
