I always love the detail that when he first appeared, Matt Groening hated Moleman. He specifically ordered the team of animators to get rid of him. And then because they thought it was funny they kept using him. And he ended up being one of the shows most iconic characters

Moleman also tries to be positive and says "I was saying 'boo-urns.'"
