@Sir-hoodlum 79 yes it's pretty damn rich, I'll try a leaner pilot jet because that's where I have the biggest issue, then maybe like you said one notch on the needle. Thanks for your input 👍
@@HadrienATF it runs amazing. This top end change I hand sanded to casting marks out of exhaust side, new v force reeds, new fmf, added the lectron and mixed fuel at 38/1 Maxima 927 on 93 octane pump fuel. Definitely feels as fast or slightly faster than my stock 2018 ktm 250sxf.
In any of your testing did you guys have valve problems or where the valves sounded louder then normal? I have 7 hours on my 2020 250r and it was broken in but today I did my first trial ride and the bike def got hot but then the valves started to get louder then I remembered, I almost started to hear a rattle sound when riding but at idle it wasnt there. Im going to look for maybe a lose engine mount bolt or something but it just seemed weird. Just curious if the valves are just loud and maybe I just forgot what they sounded like but I just figured I would ask before I tear apart my bike. Thanks once again.
Best sounding 250F of 2020. Just sucks having to drop $1000+ for exhaust having two mufflers. Aside from that the 250F and it’s big brother are the sexiest big Bikes of 2020 🔥
@@NickW90 not only that, a buddy of mine had a 450 with the dual pipes and dyno tested it with the original exhaust and aftermarket exhaust. Turns out that the stock exhaust makes more power. Honestly I don't know why people keep insisting on replacing the exhaust on these things, it won't make any more power, and I like the symmetry of the dual exhausts.

I just bought the honda 250r and Im coming from a ktm 2 stroke and the clutch pull is just destroying me. Do the WC levers help that much or is it best to go with a hydraulic clutch? I havnt tried lubing the cable but it has 5 hours on it, Is it possible it came from the factory a little short on lube? idk maybe im just finger weak
Super confused. Your running 108-110 on the sag but everyone else is running 100mm and 5mm up in the triples. That’s a massive swing. What size was your rider? Other test riders so far have been taller 165lbs plus.

@@lonnywells5680 2 strokes are the most overrated bikes ever, most 4 strokes you buy today are way better than any 2 strokes you will buy today. there is no place in this planet for a 250 4stroke..250 2stroke or 450 4 stroke...the truth is in used off road bike prices..if a used 2010 yz450 is 2.300 then how much will sell your 250? YOU WILL NOT😲..truth is truth...a frient of mine is selling his 250 for 3 years now...he say he will burn her if he is pushed to sell her 1200 euro..he didnt listen me at day one
Truth is everyone rides 4 strokes now days. All of the technology goes to the 4 strokes because the major riders in motocross all ride 4 stroke and the major events are all on 4 stroke bikes. Two strokes are just too much of a pain to ride, you have a punky ass bike that doesn't do anything unless you keep it in a very specific part of the power band and you have to really wring it's neck and be ontop of everything to ride it fast. The wet weight of a yz250f and yz250 are nearly the same too, they really aren't lighter anymore and the gain of 5 or 6 pounds is negligable on a four stroke. Really the four strokes now days have better frames, better suspension, comparable power and a much nicer to deal with power band. Sure they are fairly simple to work on, but anyone with technical skill can handle a 4 stroke engine. 2 strokes are fun but to claim they are better ignores the reality that now days they're just outdated and you have to work on them a lot to keep them competetive.
Damn...that stock exhaust sounds AWESOME!! I gotta upgrade!
