I just happened across your video while sipping my coffee this morning. I bought one of these last year and got it brand new one week before the pandemic shut everything down here in Northeast Ohio. Was a slow start to our business but this year is off to a good run. We love this machine. It is powerful, nimble and does an amazing job on any size stump. I look forward to following your videos! Thank you!

Great review. Was gonna ask how you transport this beast but you already have a video that show it being hauled on a trailer. Full-watch. Thanks 👍🏽🙂

I really liked your review of this grinder. I live in Northeast Ohio and there is tremendous amount of work in this area. I am now retired and am thinking about doing stump grinding. I have rented a few grinders and find, in my opinion, the RG80 is truly a good machine. I am curious as to how you charge, basically. Guys around here are around anywhere from $3.50/inch which includes the figuring in roots. Does that seem right to you? Do you often get asked to take away the chips? Any info would truly be helpful. Thanks so much.

I have a RG45 direct drive with the chain vs belt. I have been super happy with it and it’s been a damn good machine. I’m pushing 1000 hours and will be looking to upgrade at some point. I like Rayco but I have always wanted a wheeled Carlton 7015. How do you think the RG80 competes with the Carlton?

Hi, which green teeth do you run on the rg80? 900s or 1100s?

Thanks for the update. I have an rg80 also and am curious about the greenteeth. Have you noticed a large difference in chip containment or cleanup time? Thanks!

I think the containment is very similar as well as the cleanup. The biggest improvements are faster grinding, quicker changes and mutch cheaper in the long run.

@@tacticalstump1785 Thanks again! Do you have a good source for sharpening green or Rayco teeth?

@@johnlane903 I will make a video for you pertaining to sharpening and retipping. Its super easy. I have been having my teeth retipped by a company out of Michigan. They are more affordable than doing it yourself. There website is wit-sonquality.com . Check them out and let them know I sent ya. There good people!

I've been home bored while my machine is getting repaired and came across your channel I was wondering how many stumpgrinders do you own i have 1 a bandit 2550 its a good all around machine i do all size stumps but its a little rough on bigger ones but where i am I need a machine where I can take the wheels off to get into back yards i work for mainly other tree services and you know how that goes since they don't own a stumper they don't know cost of repairs they sell stump cheap to customer and im the 1 that pays at the end do you come across the same problems that tree companies don't want to pay good prices
Its convenient to work for tree services i don't have to worry about advertising going to price jobs and collecting money

I would say I'm 50 50 between tree companies and homeowners. Both pay the same. My price is my price. Tree guys try to beat me up all the time. I tell them all from the very beginning that if they don't like my price they can go somewhere else. I currently have 3 grinders. I am in business to make money and so are they.
