You forgot to explain the most important thing, “how much mileages you drove?”
100% - depending where you live and how far from the distribution center - you can can get up to 100 miles in one shift
You mean miles not mileages that’s not a word. But doesn’t matter how many miles it varies in each city some cities are farther apart and some are closer.
And the car gives 18kms per litre
@@ITSJUSTA997mileage is a word
And tax
This video is from Amazon in Australia, a block of 112 Australian dollars is 74 US dollars, it's the same average as here in the United States $18 to $22 an hour 😂
Ok and ?
What’s wrong with that? That’s what 90% of Americans get paid lol
You need to research more before posting incorrect information. There is zero chance the minimum nationally for a 4hr block is that rate. In the Philly region you need to work 5hrs to get $110 or accept offers the day of as opposed to scheduling them. Amazon Flex takes advantage of drivers unless you outsmart the system....dont schedule blocks ahead of time. Your best bet to make income is wait for a rain storm or on weekends or when people cancel their routes at a high rate and get those above rates that are actually worth your time. Just my opinion. Amazon will never do right by you as a driver. You have to hold out for rates worth your time.
Someone else posted that this was a video from Australia, so the pay structure is likely completely different. I've used Flex for a few months now here in the US and most of my blocks are between 19 and 21 dollars an hour.
Honestly ya'll would make a LOT more money working directly for a DSP. Yes you will still make the same amount per hour, HOWEVER, those car expenses are no longer your problem. So you're saving on gas, maintenance, and car tows. I've been in all of those situations and luckily I was able to use the company credit card for my gas, as well as the company picking up the towing services when the company van broke down. So weigh out your personal car expenses versus what the company covers for their own vehicles (whether you're at fault or not).
I work for Amazon flex (it's great don't get me wrong at all!) But that is a bunch of BS. Lol the minimum you make is around 18$ and if you happen to choose priority packages before others or work the holidays, then, and only then can you start reaching 28$/hr
This is in Australia...
Now these mf's have bots. Are you still delivering?
Just a few important points of clarification? Are you employed or a contractor? If paid as a contractor through ABN will need to consider lack of super. Lack of leave entitlements and benefits. Insurance. Fuel. Depreciation of car. Also consider everything is pre-tax (although all salary is usually advertised as pre tax most people typically see the amount that goes into their bank account as money they can spend fully)
Yeah, your right about all that no benefits or anything, can't claim your car stuff on taxes, and gotta always keep in mind taxes at the end of the year before you screw yourself
Also it doesn't pay that high minimum
What about the cost of gas, insurance, wear and tear on the vehicle, lunch, insurance, clothing, parking tickets, mechanical repairs on the vehicle, vehicle lease payments???
what? do you do the same for your job when you do your w2.
@davidortiz2026 it's one thing to drive between 30 min to 120 min of a round trip from work to home, it's another when you are driving around for 7+ hours and racking up mileage, wear and tear of your personal car and not to mention the gas prices. If I where to use my personal car it would literally cost $70-$100 per day in gas alone and that's underestimating. So yeah, it's better to actually use the company car/ work for the actual company when it comes to that stuff. Not to mention that 99% of anything that happens to the company car, the company covers most, if not ALL of those expenses. For example, when the company car stopped working on me, they called up a tow truck, and I was able to get another company car to continue on when the job. Do you have any idea how much that would've cost for my personal car??? So you need to look beyond the whole "it's the same thing" because it doesn't even compare.
good info! i didn't think of possible tow if My Car broke down!😮
@@davidortiz2026 You're raising a strawman argument. Stick to not using logical fallacies based on your cognitive biases.
@@hazelynrankin9574 Thank you. That's what I told David, but David isn't thinking logically.
If u live with ur parents sure😂
Unfortunately they pay only $18 per hour in Dallas.
They pay that way minimum everywhere, you only reach 28$/hr if you pickup priority mail or work holidays/ sometimes weekends
How much do you make monthly are are you working part time or full time hours
I get $20+ per hour out here in Pa
😂
I make anywhere between 1.5k to 2k as a part time flexer
How many days a week/hrs
Thats not the reality in NJ, a lot of desperate people grabbing crap offers. 70 dollars for 3 hours. When you deduct your time, gas, car expenses etc... You end up screwed
That's over $23 an hour. Yes, there are expenses of course, but it's $23 an hour!
I usually make around 3k a month on Amazon Flex
How many hours a week
@@MrBooster999 about 20 hours a week
How you make all that money??? I try and I make $150 a week 😢
@@dilson6136 just math if you make $100 per day, and work 30 days in a month. Then you will make $3,000 a month part time.
@dilson6136 do you still do Amazon flex? Would you recommend it? Cause I'm job hunting right now but I could see myself doing this if it's worth it. Please let me know!
Petrol ? Maintenance?
Cant stop talking about him,hes amazing
She forgot to mention gas and oil changes 😂 and repairs.
That goes without saying....This is extra money for some but the upkeep on your vehicle on the regular should be happening anyway. 🤷♂️
🤦🏿♂️
Mileage claim $0.655/mi. Say you drive 100 miles and pay is $100. Your taxable income is $34.50 of the $100 you made. $100,000 income only $34,500 gets taxed. 🎉🎉🎉
there's no logic asking bout mileage or kms done coz it is a delivery job. How can you deliver without using a vehicle? But for your info i do amazon flex and average 75 kms per day but i earn $134 for 4 hrs and $204 for 6 hrs
I mean if you have a small vehicle , it shouldn’t be too bad. I have a Chevy Cruze and I do very well with DoorDash as a side hustle
The only issue I have with Amazon flex is you have no idea what area you may deliver beforehand. Im in Nashville so there was an instance where once I got my packages my location was about 40 min out. The average here is $18-$21 hr
Hey I work in Amazon in India and want to go abroad and work there but after applying many places they are not selecting my profile can u please help
How da hek do you get paid. Where on the app does it have you set up account and route number
Not in Houston
Scam! You don't explain all the other expenses incurred which equate to you PAYING Amazon to deliver their packages!
Wtf? Huh
For those who always ask milage or kms done, it is a delivery job so expect a large number, but it obviously go with the job. For me i average 70 kms per day with amazon flex working 4.5hrs per day for 5 days. I earn from $750 to $1100 per week. I bought a hybrid car specifically for this so it aint bad.
Hey sir for delivery apps do you track your miles? If so what benefits is there when you track your miles? Is it to pay less on your income tax??
I’ve been delivering for a couple of months now and I haven’t been tracking my miles but I’m curious why most people do it. Appreciate if you answer my questions.
@@nozomu5996 I record my kms for every trip I do on a daily basis and I also include the location(s) where I went for that day. I just like to see how many kms I did on my car for work and for personal use. So far I'm recording 80% work use for it, and yes I'll include that data for tax deduction. I also record my petrol consumption which is averaging $65 a week.
@@nozomu5996 You get a tax deduction for miles driven. Let's say you earn $100 on a shift and you drive 75 miles. The current mileage deduction allowed is 65.5 cents per mile. So if you take 65.5 cents and multiply it by the 75 miles driven, that's a deduction of $49.125. So, then take the $100 you earned and subtract your deduction from it ($49.125). that leaves you with $50.875. So, instead of paying taxes on the full $100 that you earned, you'd pay taxes on the $50.875 that's left over after your mileage deduction.
Can you claim your kilometres and fuel in your tax return?
My first blocks are $72 and $82 I don't see any low blocks
Which country you from it's must be outside US
Car fuel is not deducted from the earnings I think!!??
Nope! I don't believe you can claim any car maintenance or your gas or anything on your taxes for this job either because of the form of agreement you sign
Trip to america? Isnt he already there???
That’s ridiculous cheap!!!
I make 5,000.00 per month working as nanny. Fuk that !!!
17ph In uk
33% taxes
You forgot bout the gas too
Guys get me a job am from Uganda
I deliver with a Tesla and I don’t have to pay to charge it. I also have another vehicle that offers 433 miles of range after filling up the tank with $30.
Minutes gas
Bullshit! Don’t know what market that guy is in but the average for 4 hours is $55.00, sometimes it jumps up a little. Every once in a while you snag a $101.50 offer. However, those are generally 4.5 hours or at 3:00 AM. The only time offers are consistently over $100 is on holidays.
This is Australia not USA gotta remember there’s other countries that have Amazon
Her accent must be Australian
Why work flex when we can just do what you do n get paid to just speak about it on YT .. YT money is WAAYYYY better right? 😅
Why is the math not working?
Is the gas and car insurance and car repairs included in the hourly pay?
Good question
No, it’s not, you pay for that out of your own pocket
If the pay is good then just be smart about picking a specific car that will save u tons but also no risk.
@@VinceroAlpha You pay that out of your *after tax* money too.
No it's a charity you will be paying that from hour pocket 😂😊
You can never book a week before...!?! What sort of BS is this !?! A week before ? How?
Yes you can 😊
@violabrown1459 you can't book it, they will be offer to you as a reserved block offer. You have no ability to book in advance on date or time of your choice. So it is BS what you put here.
This is Cap
They act like gas is free😂😂😂
Gas is soOOO expensive lately
I drive a Tesla. I don’t pay for gas.
@@IIAnonymousYTIIyou’re my hero
- car depreciation, fuel, toll, servicing, comprehensive insurance which comes out of your *after tax* money
Basic running cost of a car is $10k per annum so you're either breaking even or losing money.
I drive a Tesla and make more than 6k a month from delivering Amazon packages. I also Uber and DoorDash to make even more money. Additionally, I tutor math to have another source of income. Only individuals who don’t utilize their vehicle to work make up random figures.
I think u made the math wrong $114X5= $570
Take that $570 X4 monthly = $2,280
Take that $2,280 X 12 months = $27,260
Nope, the math is right! 4 hours per week ($114) is $5,928 per year ($114 x 52) :)
@@InvestWithQueenie my fault I thought u said 114 a day
@@fazehulk3997I did too
Is not the US dollar u big cokc
Damn their base pay is nice, 4 hour base pay is only $95 rn in Seattle

I work for Amazon flex, that is not the base pay- it's about 18$ minimum
19 here in nyc usually
After gas , car maintenance, tax $3000😅
