Great advice. I am so glad that YT started recommending your channel, and a few other new channels, on this topic,, because I have learned much better things here, on your channel. I was watching the channels, with a ton of viewers, who were all saying the same thing and only talking about t-shirts. You have given more info in this video, than all of their videos combined. Thank you, Mandy. 😊
How do we set up back up providers? Or is it just the setting I selected in Printify to "reroute" an order?? Thanks! Loving your content! I just opened my shop about a month ago!
Hi Mandy, I absolutely love all of your content and am so glad I found you. I have already learned so much being a new seller. Could you do a video about exactly what to do if a supplier runs out of shirts and how to handle the customer when this happens?
You have great information. I'm considering this type of business but the only 2 things that steer me away is not knowing when these pod companies pay and realistictly how many returns to expect. The last thing I would need is to get into financial trouble. I hope I asked these questions correctly. Thanks for any info you can share.
That's the first time I've seen your video, but listening to you is so good! Thank you for your tips. I'm based in UK, and gearing up to posting my first listing. Got my shop setup plus canva and printify. Working on my halloween designs atm. I've only started so have about 10-15 (actual designs that i can use for sweatshirts, mugs etc) and will be working on my SEOs now to post soon- I'm a bit nervous!
Hi Mandy, I'm enjoying your videos and joined your mini-membership! I have a question. I have a blanket designed and listed (non-personalized). It isn't giving me the option to allow the customer to choose the background color. What did I do wrong? Thanks
First off...LOVE your nail color! Second...LOVE your content. You are very inspiring. I am a new Etsy Shop owner and I started selling PNG files. I learned more and have started selling hoodies and sweatsrhits using Printify. As I look at my shop and rename some of my categories based on your advice and experience in this video, I wonder if I shouldn't have an all digital files store and a physical products store. It's overwhelming me because I don't think as new as I am that I can keep up with more than one store while I'm working full time and helping take care of my family. What would you do if you were me and just starting out.
Awesome advice!! Thank you for giving such detailed info that we don't get from other influencers! Question: on the tote bags from Duplium, what do they mean that "white space does not print"? Are they talking about white in your design, or the rest of the bag, or just the transparent background?
Thank you so much for all your videos, Mandy! One question about optimizing the title: Many sellers repeat keywords in the title. Example for a whole title: "Cow Sweatshirt Gift For Farmers, Western Lover Sweatshirt, Cowboy Sweater, Cute Cowgirl Hoodie, Highland Cow Hoodie, Funny Cow tshirt" "Cow Sweatshirt" is a different long tail keywords than "Highland Cow Hoodie". Nevertheless, due to the juxtaposition of different long-tail keywords, certain terms repeat several times. If you reduce the keywords that appear several times to one keyword, this title comes out: "Funny Highland Cow Sweatshirt, Cowgirls Cowboy Sweater Gift For Farmers". Is the original title better because the long-tail keywords occur the way customers search for them, or is the optimized title fine too?
Thank you so much Mandy! I take notes every time I watch your videos. I do have a question for promoting on social media. What platforms do you recommend posting on? I appreciate your guidance. 🙏❤😊
I am currently selling a load of different stuff i.e. Mugs, shirt, digital items but all in the same shop. Is this wrong? Should I be having several specialist shops just selling specific items? I am really new - only made seven sales but anxious for this to work as being made redundant in a year...
Dear Mandy, I have a Tote Bag from the Print Provided in Canada (Duplium), and before making it live on Etsy, I asked Printify and they said that Customers may need to pay custom fees "there would be some customs fees the customer would have to pay", that sounds like a ONE STAR REVIEW to me... do you know if your customers had to pay those fees? I like the quality of the Tote bag but I am afraid to post it in the US because of the Printify just told me on the chat
Great content, Mandy! Thank you very much for sharing your insights. Would you recommend listing Christmas focused items already, or hold off until the start of Q4? Thanks again!
Started my Etsy Shop and already got 700 Shirts up. Still only 7 sales... I don't know, if the design is bad, or it's a summerhole. I hope it turns better to Christmas. Anyway, Thanks for always be encouraging! You give me hope to leave my awful job.
Hi Mandy I love your videos, thank you. I’m just starting out and I’m wanting to start listing items however I am based in Australia, what’s the best process for selecting printing companies when you’re outside the US? We have limited selection here. Is it silly to select American printing companies, this would shorten the delivery for US customers but lengthen it for local customers.
Hey, I'm a beginner. I get visits but no sale. But someone tried to buy something, but I couldn't finalize the purchase bc it said I was blocked. And still say block I contact etsy didn't help now I'm stuck 😮
Thank you for the great information and realistic words of wisdom. I'm getting back into e-commerce after 20 years away and everything you say is so right on, especially the craziness of Q4. Picking products based on quality and "backup providers" is excellent advice. I had an online bean bag chair store in the 1990s to early 2000's my first year when my providers got overwhelmed, I had no backup providers, it made customer service a nightmare. No one wants their Christmas present late. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you Mandy! I love all your videos ❤ I’m currently trying not to drown in overwhelm but it’s a struggle😮. Also, did Printify remove the Duplium tote bag? I don’t see it listed. Do you recommend another tote?
I'm starting my new store and ready to launch. I'm still very confused about the pricing. I know you said you set it to 65% profit. what percentage so you discount it for sales. I find it confusing with Swift POD because their prices are all over the place. TIA!
Thank you for such a valuable and helpful content. I’m starting to get ready for Q4 in my new store and appreciate anything that can help me grow my business. I do have a question. Right now I’m not accepting returns or exchanges. Is that the norm with POD? Would that hurt my business. Part of the reason is because I wouldn’t know how you handle returns and exchanges with POD? What’s your feedback?
My policies are that I don’t accept returns/exchanges, and that if the item is damaged or there are printing issues to contact me (at which point I reach out to Printify and they cover a replacement at no charge). Most POD shops do bot accept returns/exchanges 😊
Does anyone else use Duplium for the canvas totes? I'm all for quality but noticed the shipping window default is 10-30 days for U.S which doesn't look great if youre about to buy but it says your product may not arrive for more than a month. For those who use them, what do you put for your shipping estimate? Have you found them to arrive to the States pretty quickly??
Definitely update the shipping window. I use them all the time and have even used them as a backup during the holidays if something with my US provider is out of stock and they have it (like apparel). They arrive to the states sometimes faster than orders from US providers 😅 I have my shipping estimate set to 2-7 business days (in addition to the 2-5 business days for production), and it’s never been a problem 😊
Just need some advice. I have had etsy for almost a year but only sell 2 mugs. With only 240 listing with deffernt niches and now learning alot from your youtube. I want to go back and start working on it.. can I open another shop to start a new one, or I will continue this shop that's dead, no reviews. I bought the course to sell mugs, but it's not worthwhile as I just want to upload spaghetti on the wall to get what's working.
Normally I would say use what you have, but if you aren’t planning to continue with mugs and don’t have any reviews, then your better option would likely be a new shop. There is a chance a new shop might get temporarily suspended - which is super common, but usually temporary. You can start with a clean slate though and implement different strategies. Make sure you’re targeting specific niches/sub-niches, researching demand, and taking time to understand your target customer(s) so that you can create designs that will resonate with them 😊
Thank you. I been watching your youtube. How many times going back in fort. . I did tried what I learned from you it's it's my very first time I've seen my product when I searched my shirt on etsy. Very interesting, thank you

The mug you have in this video is really funny.
Hey Mandy! How do you feel colors print on the Duplium canvas tote bag? (Thanks for all your help!)
I always get excited to watch her videos! I got me my coffee an this is my ‘tv’!!!
Mandy can you recommend a realistic mockup for this exact tote bag?
Thank you Mandy, from first video until now we learnt lot of knowledge.

Hello Mandy, I love your videos. Thank you for your wisdom you shared on YT.
Hello I’m new to your channel and love ❤️ your detailed content. It’s very helpful as I’m just starting POD. Thank you 😊

One question about optimizing the title:
Many sellers repeat keywords in the title.
Example for a whole title:
"Cow Sweatshirt Gift For Farmers, Western Lover Sweatshirt, Cowboy Sweater, Cute Cowgirl Hoodie, Highland Cow Hoodie, Funny Cow tshirt"
"Cow Sweatshirt" is a different long tail keywords than "Highland Cow Hoodie".
Good Morning! :) SO helpful. Pricing strategies are really, really hard to figure out. Much appreciated. 😊
Have a $$$ Q4
Bev.
Love your practical, open approach - thank you!

Great stuff Mandy ! Thank you !
Should we add the tote print to both sides or just one ?
Wow amazing advice!!! Thank you soo much

You have quantity, not quality. It’s impossible make 700 designs with quality in short time

Awesome content Mandy - ty!!
But how you are going to do Halloween or Christmas t-shirt in your niche? Doesn't fit at all, mine is flowers...thanks for your video

@@studiomdesignsco thanks for your response. It really helps to know because I thought it would affect my sales.
How many holiday listings would you recommend?
Do you get a sample of everything you sell to see the quality?
Do i keep my profit margin at 40% or I should increase it
Increase! I recommend 65% in Printify so that you can then offer sales and free shipping (if you choose to) in Etsy
Thanks!
