I get that op is grieving ,but he needs to stop making everything about himself. Cheating is wrong. Yes, it was made more complex by Sally's inability to be herself with her family. However, how Sally and Ben's marriage went is not about op. Sally's grief is not about him nor does he get to decide if it (or her love for Ben) is genuine. Ben's death is not on Sally, nor did op have a right to say what he said to her. Op's marriage is ending because he is choosing to lash out at another grieving person while also alienating his wife. His wife choosing to be kind and comfort someone she has been close to for years is not an attack on or betrayal of OP. Guy needs to let himself feel his emotions and work through this. Anger is the first stage of grief, but that is not an excuse for attacking another greiving person.
His wife alienated him not the other way around. She chose to be with a cheating pos instead of her husband. A spouses obligation when their significant other grieving is to them not the person who cheated on their husbands best friend forever.

sally never loved ben, if she did she wouldn't have cheated on him for the entirety of their relationship and marriage... and ben died because he was destroyed by sally's actions, if she didn't cheat on him he would likely still be alive.
