But, it's done and looks great!

One of the things I would have recommended, is the empty spaces behind the plywood panels you put on the wall, and the shiplap on the ceiling, would have put more insulation in. It would help with both the winter and summer with regulating the temp in the van.
Thank you for sharing the complete process of installing walls and ceilings for campervans.
You might want to look into a passive heating for the floor. Stepwarm is what I found, designed for RVs.
Really looked like a pain to build out. And it looks amazing! Great work
That router bit issue just unlocked a new fear for when I'm working with angry spinning blades of death. 😅
The van is starting to come together nicely, Johnny. Looking forward to the next video!
great series. you've become a rock star narrator! keep soldiering on man. :)
Guinness world record on saying Trim ring 1 million times in 15 minutes
I'd definitely swap those screws out for brass ones in the future, it'd look sharp and add a nice flair to the shiplap.
Been working on my van (same van as Alex has) lately. Been modifying the electrical system mostly and adding soft cabinets above the bed. Trying cheaper pet carriers to hold mostly light things I need on the road but don't need to get often. We shall see how that works.
Sounds fun!
Hi Johnny, just saw your van build on Sampler, if you'd like a couple of Helmetor helmet holders to try just let me know :) Tim
Take a shot every time he says RETROSPECT
Fantastic work, Johnny! Really well done! 😃
But... What about making a new one, but with walnut instead of plywood? 😬😂
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Looks nice. Did you add insulation to the van and i missed that video?
what insulation are you using for floor walls and ceiling
Good work.
What store did you find the shiplap at? That is exactly what I need for the interior of my little camper build
Lowe’s!
Drop a link for the router bit…. Actually never mind. Glad that went without incident.
No way to glue door push clips on the window wall? Just thinking
Nice job
Link for the scribe tool?
Here's the one I used, works really well! amzn.to/47LeFoL
Attention to detail! I would’ve just used oversized curtains to hide all the window trim issues, but I’m lazy and less talented
Nice!
Remember that BetterHelp sells your data to outside companies.
Their business model is actually brilliant. They’re a “connector” between independent therapists and the general public. I do something similar in another industry that is “fragmented” and very localized like the therapy industry is. Most therapists don’t have the budget to run marketing campaigns so they can use the economies of scale that betterhelp has for a much cheaper price than doing their own marketing.
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Wasn’t that the wrong direction to route out the window? I thought it should’ve been done counter clockwise.
No, it was the right direction. He was technically upside down in relation to the piece he was routing, therefor he was going clockwise.
@@billsk8 I see what you’re saying.
Ya
Does this awful company pay every single UA-cam channel?
Not a huge fan of how you did the window openings. I feel like trying to match the curve of the window would have looked much better. Or at least leaving enough of a reveal between the curved section and the rectangular opening so that it didn't look so awkward. It just looked like you made a mistake installing it. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to provide some honest feedback. I generally like your channel and watch most of your videos. Just thought this one wasn't quite up to your usual standards.
You didn't finish the video did you?
It’s a van conversion, not a home build. It doesn’t need to be aesthetically perfect.
@@tmdwu3110 Yep I did. I didn't like how it turned out. Some of the corners were rounded but others were straight and covered up rounded parts. Just wasn't a fan of the finished look.
@@HowP88 Of course. And it's his project so he can complete it how he wants to. But he's putting it out on the internet for us to watch and earning an income from watching it. And so I'm just providing some feedback. I don't think I was mean or rude about it. Just sharing my thoughts.
Waste of time
