I shimmed my inserts with aquarium filter foam. Very similar to fridge foam except its black. I got them cut consistently round and easily using a make shift circle cutter. I basically a compass but using a knife point instead of a writing tool by using piece of cardboard, a hobby knife and a nail as a pivot point. You can also buy circle cutters too for not much amazon, Aliexpress, etc.
This is so weird! Literally hours before the release of the video, I made these exact shims for a set of injora greens inside fusks. Sir, you are a fine influence on my thinking. So much better.
i have injora 57mm and 64mm yellow inserts. the 57's inside lgrp swamp kings, and the 64's in injora swamp claws.both have great forward drive and side wall support. the yellow inserts smell real weird
ok, i know this is an older video, however the red inserts are a godsend on my rig. it weighs in at 13.5lbs and is a trail rig with the injora Cherokee hardbody and i can say that i tried it on blues and the tire just folded under the weight and would slide on the rim (also has the injora brass rings and brass "rotor" weights) when i ordered the reds i was afraid they would be way too stiff since it says 7.5kg-12kg weight, but it was perfect! also fills out the sidewall very nicely on my hobbypark beadlocks, has a good amount of wrap still (non-vented). now i know im falling in a very VERY niche group of people that the reds would help, but given i have FULL METAL (thats its name) parts the only things plastic are the body and the fender liners and i plan to add MORE to this rig since it is a scale replica of my old jeep, lol
Do you think cutting a shim for the Injora using an actual RC tire foam, say from an RTR or that they give you when you buy basically any RC tire, would work, in theory? Or is it better to have something very soft, like the fridge sponge thing you used? Thanks!
Definitely not the front axles since meus use equal length axles while f10s have unequal lengths to accommodate the offset pumpkin. I'm not too sure on the rear, but I'm interested to know if the portal gears are compatible.
All of the Vanquish inners will fit in the rear axle. In the front, you can only use the ring/pinion, portal gears, and stub axles. The F10 is offset and the MEUS nylon is not, so you can use the Vanquish universals.
We all hope that the tires are the only things that touch the ground! Fridge foam is a great idea - cheap, easy and effective.

This combo works great, im running it in my pro line bfg krawler kx and injora wheels. Great value for the performance it gives you.
Using this very method and products in my Tusks and my Fusks.

Is the fridge foam like a drawer liner type of product?
Yes

This isn't pertaining to this video, but I would like to know if Vanquish internals will fit in the Meus portal axles please. Thanks.
