I just hit gc1 in 2s this season, and I love watching pros. But honestly perplexes me how much simpler there gameplay is. I feel like aside from the very fast resets and airdribbles, I could play like this. Then I go play and I get trashed. Sometimes I wonder what I'm missing

I think these pros have reached a level of familiarity with the game that it's second nature. They seem to have insane dynamic game sense, constantly predicting the plays to slide the odds in their own favour. I think at this level the mental game and team synergy is just as if not more important than mechanics, like csgo, you can have amazing aim but if you slack on the game strategy then aim can be played around.

it's very interesting indeed, i'm a derranked Champ in 2s, a few days ago i had the chance to play against SSLs along with a GC in my team, we won most of the matches, and the thing i felt is that they're intentions are much clearer than in Diamond or champ, it is very weird
It’s easy to watch and follow the game, but what separates you and these pros is experience. They have been through every situation that you have and 10,000 more. Also, they are better at car control and picking up minor details because they have mastered “basic” aspects of the game. They know when to challenge, there’s very little uncertainty, and it seems like a high speed chess match because of how fast it is. But it’s organized chaos, and very few mistakes are made that can be capitalized on. Also, getting to GC is about 1/2 to a 1/5 of the hours of a new pro player in this game. Take all of the time you have dumped into the game to get gc1 in 2’s and then multiply it by 5. That would probably be a decent player.

OK ZEN's last goal in the second game was insane. The 5th goal, off the ceiling. Using the ground in the same way most of us use a backboard. Also making an observation on the first game, paired up with Faerypeak. I have to ask. Does anyone know if ZEN and Faerypeak not like each other? Im curious if anyone else noticed this but to me it looked like Faerypeak started the match wanting to play as a team but then after like a minute or 2 in you can almost hear Faerypeak say... "fuk it" and started playing for himself. Not that you can blame Z he played the same way he always done but I think Faerypeak was expecting a pass maybe, and took it personally. Look at ZEN's confusion with Faerypeak refusal to give ZEN the ball at 3 : 40, kind of get a feel where Faerypeak's head is at. Z playing with mid-boost as Faerypeak's getting scored on I think was ZEN's response, even if it's just a coincidence still funny when you think about it, Z wasn't in a hurry to get back and help him that much is clear. Honestly though, if Im reading into this correctly it's almost a relief that even at that skill level, even pro-RL players can rub each other the wrong way and even be downright petty.

I have a recommendation! I think you should do something to the font/size/color of the text, up to you. As of now, I find the text hard to notice! When I first watched I didn’t notice the text til halfway through.

In the first game he wasn't overpowed at all, he was playing very bad actually (for his level). But in the second game he was definitely op, to do all that against rw9 and nwpo is insane.

Some people are born differently and think differently to others and it’s normally the thing that separates the greats in many fields from the rest. You can learn all the mechanics/techniques possible but then there has to be something that elevates a player from others which is in thinking.

The reason Zen is so good at a time top players are so close mechanically is because of how sees and thinks about the game which is something you just can’t teach.

It's really nice to see these mechanics, but it gives me agony to see that it doesn't even have a technique and is poorly positioned.
I'm not sure overpowered is the correct way to describe Zen's play during these two matches. The first game lasted nearly double the normal game time and was very close most of the game. Zen's game-winning goal was mechanically impressive, but again his team only won by one. The second game was also really close until about halfway through, but the other players are also very good and were able to deter most of Zen's attempts to score. Zen has amazing car control, but he doesn't appear to be overpowered.

Just commenting on the 2nd match, he is playing against Nwpo and RW9. Those 2 are some of the best players in the world. Arguably the best defenders too. I would hope it isn't a blowout, and certainly makes the case for Zen being OP with what he was doing.
I’m not sure overpowered is the correct way to describe Michael Jordan. He played games that went to overtime and even lost some. His shots were skillfully impressive, but his team barely won. The other players even blocked his shots sometimes. Michael Jordan is an amazing player, but he doesn’t seem to be overpowered.
