You are a god send! I was going through UA-cam ever since Glossier released the new shades trying to look for a review and you have provided an excellent one, thank you so much xxx
Hey! Loved this review--like a lot of commenters, I came looking for reviews of the new shade range. Keep it up! You're such a chill persona and I love the lack of hype words and the fact that don't say the word "like" every 4 words.
I’m so flippin happy you and I are so very close in skin color and that you did this video! I was just about to purchase the concealer and skin tint. I always felt like a color between medium and dark would also be my best match. So Wayne Goss did a video about a year ago with a concealer hack- especially if your concealer is more emollient. It works WONDERS for the stretch concealer. I have dry to combo skin, but I’m usually very dry under my eyes and therefore I don’t like setting my concealer with powder at all. Then came Wayne and changed the game. -First, you apply the concealer to your under eye with your fingers. -Then you gently buff it out with a concealer brush (the fluffier kind, not the flat brushes) -Third, you take a tissue then gently and lightly press it over the concealer so it picks up any excess. -Then you blend away the edges and make sure everything is blended out with a damp sponge This is where I usually stop. Just those steps set the Glossier Stretch Concealer so that I get longer wear out of it without creasing BUT, if you want to use powder, you’d follow the steps above and then, - apply the powder lightly with a setting brush or your damp sponge - then, take a light face oil (I like the bright booster oil from Physicians Formula) , put the tiniest bit (not even a whole drop) on the back of your hand, warm it up by rubbing back and forth - you only need a light, barely-there amount of oil on your finger, then gently dab it around the area where you put the powder. It leaves your under eyes looking well hydrated, not at all drying, not greasy, and it stays put all day.
Oh my god, I’ve been hoping that glossier will expand their shades since the concealer in medium is too light for me but dark doesn’t give me the slight brightness I want for undereyes. Thank you for the swatch and review!
Your review was so nice and helpful cause I feel like your skintone is similar to mine and is a perfect reference! I have both the PST in Dark (now G6) and Medium (now G9) and I find myself having to mix both, cause even if it's sheer, I can tell on my face if I'm only using the Medium or only using Dark. Plus, I find that Dark pulls more warm-orange (on me). G7 looks like THE perfect shade in-between, especially because of its more yellow undertone.
WOW This is so so soooo helpful! I'm a mixed asian and have the hardest trouble finding a shade that is truly neutral. I loved the original skin tint formula and am ready to try the new shades. This helped me figure out my color. Thank you!!!
This was the best Glossier video shoeing products and demonstration and explanation of color I have ever seen--- thank you so very much. Also it looked very pretty on you!
I really can't wait for Glossier to ship to my country 😭 or for my friend that lives in England to offer me something haha she said she would on my birthday so!!! I don't ever wear concealer or foundation (or a tinted moisturizer or anything on my face) so it wouldn't be my first option but it made me happy to know there are a lot of options now !! I did the test and I would be between a G9/G10 so it's nice to know at least lol
I've been a fan of "the Glossier look" (well, mostly) for a long while, as it is, for the most part, how I like my face makeup to look. As in, dewy, mostly unset skin that doesn't have noticeable complexion cover-up. Though, I do love a colourful, kind of outrageous eye look, or a ridic-coloured lipstick. Haven't tried Glossier, yet, though. I usually moisturise VERY heavily, and apply oils, then use a med to high-coverage, low-liquid foundation, buffed in and sheered out with the moisturisers and oils. I've been using the Hourglass cream foundation for the past year or two, and it does leave a BEAUTIFUL finish (like, truly the prettiest ever), but I feel bad using it most days because, 1) it's so, so expensive, and 2) it FEELS heavy on the skin, as most creams do. After that, I spot conceal my few dark spots, and conceal my under eyes only in a line where my undereye-bag shadow meets the light. I lightly powder my nose and undereye "line," along with the other concealer spots. That gives me the look I want, but it takes a long damn time, altogether. 😭 Bought a set (skin tint, concealer, boy brows) over black Friday, finally, and I'm super excited! Seems like a better combo for everyday wear for a few different reasons. Beyond price and a less weighty feel, I have a feeling it'll be MUCH quicker, as I won't need to apply like 5 different serums and moisturisers, and don't need a bunch of tools for application and blending. This seems like a good option, for someone like me. 🤔 I hope it works out, for more low-maintenance days! 🤞🏻 😖
this is my first time ever click so fast on a video, haven't watched yet but im so thankful you're doing this video! Thank you! Oh and i love your monochromatic look ❤️
Thanks for a very clear and thorough overview! I'm glad to have found this since I feel like I have a similar skin tone to yours, plus it's great that you compared the shades in PST and SC to each other; that was very helpful. 😊
Thank you for your review!! You are basically my shade and I was really wondering about these products!! Just ordered mine and can’t wait! I even ordered the wonder!
Your review was so helpful for me, I was trying to pick between G7 and 8 and this helped me go with G7! I want to use your referral link but it doesnt seem to be working?
I emailed Glossier to find out my shade for the skin tint and concealer because I’ve always used G9 but it’s a little light on me. They came back with G10, even lighter 😂 I wanna try G8 or even G7 but a bit afraid they’ll be super dark.
Oh my gosh thank you for your review! I was torn between G7 and G9, but I think I’m gonna get G7 since I’m NC30-35 in MAC. Do you think it’s a good match?
I always love your videos and reviews💛💛 I would love to her your opinions on some Milk Makeup products, specifically the sunshine skin tint. Would also love your thoughts on the ordinary serum foundation and how those two compare to Glossier skin tint. Thanks and keep up the amazing videos!!
Mac face and body is the same idea as these foundations and it seems to make it through a lot more declutters than any of the rest :) its been my holy grail for the last 6 years. If recommend checking it out if you're interested ☺️
How's this for combo skin gals? I'm dry on the outside but my T zone can be a greasy hot mess...trying to find a new everyday base product for office wear
Yessss! This is exactly what I'm looking for. I just found that Glossier expanded their shades in both skin tint & concealer and I'm a bit overwhelmed. Currently using Dark on Skin Tint and the concealer on spots, but Medium concealer for under eyes. So THANK YOU so much!!! Btw, wanted to ask what your skin type is, and what shade of Wowder did you use for this video?
Thanks so much! Wearing the following shades from the tarte tartlette in bloom palette (all mattes and all very dupeable shades): jetsetter and smarty pants on the lid leader and rebel in the outercorner / crease activist in the lash line 💕💕
I bought G11 in the skin tint and C12 in their concealer; I probably shouldn’t have bought it since I sweat a lot throughout the day and it might just slip off, but I still need to try it after seeing your video 😂😂
Hi! I know you had mentioned having Wowder in light/medium and dark/deep. Which shade do you normally use? I think we have a similar skin tone; I also use the shade dark & would be G7 in the new shade range. However, I had read that some people found ‘dark/deep’ too deep for their skin tone. Any thoughts/recommendations? Thanks!
Ideally, I would pick a shade between them.. but if I had to pick just one for all over the face, I would go with dark/deep. It is a tinted powder, but as long as you apply it sparingly, it does not darken the skin tone. I find that the light/medium shade can look a bit ashy on my cheeks/forehead, however, it’s great for setting under the eyes. Consider where you’d like to use it before picking. Also, from my experience, Glossier has an awesome return policy, so if you choose a shade and change your mind - shoot them an email! 💕
It doesn’t really crease on its own, I add the powder more for longevity because I have more combination skin. Definitely don’t need the wowder, though. If you want to powder, you can use any one you like!
It would probably be the best line to start with if you’ve never worn makeup before because it’s such a sheer lightweight formulation. Doesn’t feel heavy on and feels just like skin (but a smidge dewier) 💕
Also it’s refreshing to see someone with real skin (a few imperfections) demoing their products. You have Beautiful skin
thanks so much - glad you found the video helpful :)

2 years late but did you like it?
Thanks for comparing the tint and concealer next to each other! That's super helpful to see the right color for my skin tone.

Very Very Helpful! I couldn’t figure out what shade I was in the skin tint. But now I know I’m definitely G6. Thank you so much.
This is an INCREDIBLE review - it's very detailed & helpful. Thank you!!
Wow great timing, i was just watching your full of glossier video

Oh my gosh thank you for your review! I was torn between G7 and G9, but I think I’m gonna get G7 since I’m NC30-35 in MAC. Do you think it’s a good match?
I would definitely go with G7

Which shade should I get for a a light olive skin tone?
Thanks for the nice description of the tints. I needed to choose a color and your review was super helpful specially the time stamps.
Glad it was helpful! 💕
Also, I would love to know what’s on your eyes! It looks lovely x

@@stylishandliterate What magical sorcery is on your eyelashes? They look incredible! 😍
Thanks so much! I’m wearing falsies in this video-they’re a pair of the accent lashes from ardell :)
@@stylishandliterate Thanks for the reply! They are probably the best falsies I have ever seen on someone. They look incredibly natural.
I found that the skin tint in G7 was perfect but the concealer in G7 was way too light
Good video. Nice presentation. Thank you.
this is amazing!!!
love this review!!!
Thanks that was a very helpful review!
Awesome video!!
I bought G11 in the skin tint and C12 in their concealer; I probably shouldn’t have bought it since I sweat a lot throughout the day and it might just slip off, but I still need to try it after seeing your video 😂😂
Just powder a bit and I think it'll be great.

What brush are you using for the concealer?
Do you find that the powder is necessary for the prevention of creasing? Does it need to be Wowder in particular?
It doesn’t really crease on its own, I add the powder more for longevity because I have more combination skin. Definitely don’t need the wowder, though. If you want to powder, you can use any one you like!
@@stylishandliterate Thank you so much for replying, oh my gosh. Do you have a recommended powder brush?
I don’t know what shade to get😭
brennon mitchell me too!
Lucka Tabačeková I just got g8 in the skin tint and g9 in the concealer haha
What shade do you use in wowder? (Because I don't know which one I should get in the new shades)
Hey! Can you tell me what brush you used while applying the concealer?
it's the Sephora collection #57 Concealer brush - it's a great brush, definitely recommend! 💕
You remind me of Mandy Moore! 🥰
Her voice!
I’m g-12 haha. It matches me perfectly
Would you recommend for someone who has never worn makeup before
It would probably be the best line to start with if you’ve never worn makeup before because it’s such a sheer lightweight formulation. Doesn’t feel heavy on and feels just like skin (but a smidge dewier) 💕
aleeza / stylishandliterate thanks!
What wowder shade did you end up using?
I used a combination of both. Light/medium under the eyes and dark/deep on the rest of the face.
G7
Can you please tell me what brush you use to blend the concealer?
It’s the Sephora Pro Airbrush Detail brush, #57. One of my favourite brushes for concealer 💕
aleeza / stylishandliterate Hi what about for the powder? :)
Stacie it’s also from sephora collection, the featherweight #90 brush... might be discontinued though
aleeza / stylishandliterate oh thank you dear!!
What’s ur shade in mac for reference ?
I’m an NC35!
aleeza / stylishandliterate ty!!
Thank you
I thought she was Annie from 90DF
I had to look up what "90DF" meant haha
