I really like your videos ! It's a great way to discover new boardgame
Unfortunately I always go on another website to check the number of players, the rate, the time of the game,...
May be you already have those information on you page may be not, if not it would be nice to put them in the description. Just a thought of course :)
    Anyway ! Thanks !

in every video, at the very top of my show notes, is a link to the game's page on boardgamegeek, where you can instantly see all those stats your looking for :)

Great video. Your explanations of all the options and risks are clear and I like that. I've been on the fence spending $60 dollars on this game since the reviews label it as mediocre. Looks like I'm 6 months behind here, so you might not remember enough about the game to answer my question. Lots of the recent BGG comments on the game mention that the game is too unbalanced in favor of players who build factories at the first of the game to generate 3 or 4 knowledge each turn. After seeing your playthrough, I question that reasoning. If a player just spent time traveling and building factories, wouldn't that come at the expense of building resource airships - meaning, they'd be resource deprived at the end of the game? What do you think? Could the game be 'broken' as it were, if a player only focused on factories first? Or, is there enough diversity with the resource management that the game could still be kept interesting.
Thanks again for the video and for taking time to read this comment.

sorry, you're right, it's been awhile and i can't really comment. plus i don't think i've played it nearly enough to comment on the overall balance, other than to say every time i've ever seen groupthink like this online, it almost always turns out to be wrong, and it's not that one path is more powerful than another, it's just that one path is easier to play well, so it looks more powerful. i'd bet that's the case here, but i can't say for sure.

rahdo no worries, and thanks for the reply. I've never heard what you say about group think phrases that way before, but it makes sense. From what I've seen of the game, it looks like it's right up my alley. Thanks again!

i think there is a mistake at 14:50, an empty space does not block the "action way"

Do you ever plan to go back to having the camera in hand? The overhead view makes it hard to see the icons and other elements on the board.

they've been much harder to do for a while because my camera's battery has developed a memory and won't last more than 4 or 5 minutes, so i have to film with the power cord plugged in, which is surprisingly cumbersome. i've tried twice to order replacement battery, and each time, something's gone wrong. still trying though :)

rahdo thank you for the reply. Hopefully they are able to get their act together so you can get back to the way you'd like to film.

Great but misleading cover. It is not about floating cities, instead a soulless euro/stock game. The most telling sign was that after explanation by the game master EVERYONE got up and left the table. I sat there for like 20 minutes but nobody wanted to play. And i did shower that morning.
