Nice drive and NC is such a nimble car to throw around the track. Car is pretty well setup with those coiiovers which plants firmly to the track.well done!
Great video and driving. I have a 2011 NC 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT, similar to yours. I wanted to say, check your wheel bearings. My car made a whining noise just like yours but at 40-70mph (obv. not 100+ on the road) and it was a terribly worn rear bearing. In this video I can hear it over that exhaust!
I think the noise you can hear in the video is the AR1 semislick tyres which make a very loud whinning noise. When i run my road wheels with Uniroyal rainsports there is no noise! But thankyou for the concern!!
I've got 153k miles on mine. I hope it lasts like 300k miles. Meh if the engine goes, you can always go for a 2.5 L or get a used engine, then rev it some more.
@@cydonia9342 🙏🏻👍🏻. I prefer NC1 look. I have fitted a race-prepared re-built engine NC3 , fully upgraded new Meister R club race suspension/poly bushed, Cobra mid/back-box, Racing Beat header, full re-map and had a $8k bare metal respray this past 12 months. This year my car will be trailered BBR for stage 2 supercharger. Love my Miata x
@@cattymccatface7834 I'm with you I preferred the NC1 look, but I wanted the 2009+ engine. I bought an '12 NC2, but I never got around changing the facia. It grew on me. I have 153k on the clock, and I can't express with rods how much I love this thing. I got the PRHT, and then got light everything: Wheels, lug nuts, suspensión, and exhaust.
It's very encouraging if it's seen a lot of track time. I started tracking mine last year around 60,000mi and it seems to love it so far. It definitely gets a lot of maintenance since it does track time

Cheers matey! Car felt great
Nice, glad you put up a mod list too. Also mad mileage for a track car, my old crx had 198000 on track too but it was on its way out

Great vid, what brakes do you use?
May I know which Meister R you use, Zeta CRD or Clubrace? what's your spring rate? Thank you
Standard CRD, with standard spring rates mate 👍🏻
Can I ask if your NC is burning any oil on a regular basis?
What tyres?

If that's not reason to buy an MX5 I don't what is. I'm on the brink. Just need to find the right one :)
You can buy a good NC for less £5k. Then you need to budget for performance modifications to your wallet.
Get an NC2/3 (2009+) if you want the 2.0 engine and LSD.

196000 miles and still seem nothing for these cars hahaha
