For season 13 and 14 if you wonder if the couples have to sign a prenup, how much money they make, how to get picked for the show then this video will leave you with all the information you need.

I feel like most bad matches are because people will answer all their questions based on who they think they are or who they hope to be.... not who they ACTUALLY are.
💯 Yes. It's so easy to be mismatched that way.
Given these rules and the crazy production process, it's a miracle every time a marriage survives!
Seriously! Right!!?! 😂
If they do a psych evaluation how in the heck did Chris get on the show?
Depends on whether it’s a psychiatric, psychological, or psychosocial
@@droosyg252 Apparently they have no back up plan to suss out liars. Which is pretty stupid. And Chris is a great liar when he wants to be.
Since the evaluations are usually a series of multiple choice questions, they are easy to cheat on.
@@mariarohmer2374 for a reality tv show, I’m pretty sure the evaluations aren’t too extensive.
@@droosyg252 apparently not from what we have seen!
A bar is where they must have met Virginia on Season 12.
LOL!! 😂 😂
😂😅😂 You're hilarious!
lol!
Rip off, 18k is under minimum wage. How do you work full time and do this show it’s all a waste
@@malikasee8404 Keep in mind that it's 18k for about 8 - 9 weeks of filming. Therefore, it's about 9k a month. 😉
Dr. Pepper helped create Eharmony’s algorithm! She used to be on the commercials.
Very interesting. I don't remember that. I'll have to check that out. Thx 👍🏽
@@TamaraLynetteTales It was PerfectMatch.com, not EHarmony. Sorry about that. MAFS might be using her algorithm.
Paige didn't have to stay. Several of the experts said that they gave her several chances to leave. She chose to stay and continue filming.
Paige is a damn fool.
True, Paige didn't have to stay "in the marriage." Opting out of filming is another matter. I don't have proof that they were willing to break the contract and release her from the show altogether however.
There should be something in the contract about the conditions under which MAFS reserves the right to prematurely terminate the contract.
After all that psychological and emotional abuse, paige definitely should have left
Page stay bc she is a woman of faith. She made a vow to be there for better or for worst. She was taking this marriage for real. She left this union knowing that she has given it all. She's a Saint.
I’m a huge fan of MAFS since the first episode. Thanks so much for this information, I had no idea 🤷♀️
Fun facts huh? 😃 Thank you for tuning in!! 💜
@@TamaraLynetteTales yes!! I’m not surprised the applicants need to follow strict rules! However Chris didn’t 🙄🤦♀️
@@susiegross1853 Agreed. They allowed Chris to run the show.
No wonder Paige stayed! $50,000 is a lot to pay for leaving! The experts were shady putting the blame on Paige for staying knowing damn well what the penalty would be!!
Yeah that's a slippery slope. I think she could have left the marriage but had to stay to tape the show. Which means she'd still have to deal with him because he couldn't leave either...nothing "real" about realty shows. LOL
Mindy was able to leave the marriage but not film scenes with Zach. Paige just had to agree to be available for filming. The experts weren’t shady
The $50,000 explains Henry reluctantly filming with Christina.
Yeah. It explains why a lot of these couples are so "committed" to make it work. 😅
Watching these shows just makes one want to stay single - just go out with your friends
A physc evaluation so how did Alyssa end up on the show lol
I really love this video, thank you so much, I love to see how things are done behind the scenes!!!
You are so welcome!
I think the hardest part for me would be getting used to the cameras, I am so camera shy I wouldn’t even act the same
😂 😂 I did a project where they had cameras in my face for three days, and that was super exhausting. I can't imagine eight weeks.
Oh wow, they did all that checking and Chris with his nutty self manage to slip through the cracks. I'm here for the next season.🙂
Exactly!! I suspect he and Paige had a super high match score through their "scientific" system.
You say they are required to hide social media accounts right before they get married….. how did season 11’s Karen find Miles’ social media???
It was reported that a producer text it to her by mistake. If you Google a name you can often find pictures and videos of them without viewing their social media. 🤫😃
Please please put out more videos. I’m in Love with your channel
💜💜💜 Girl I love all the love you've been showing! Thank you soooo much!!!
I just rewatched this after seeing it over a year ago. Some of their rules have changed or MAFS is just not adhering to them anymore. Some of the couples refuse to stay overnight with each other. At least two of the couples got annulments, I believe the salaries have increased. A couple of more things have changed but my 75 year old brain can’t remember them, lol. Hope they still do the dna test cause half of us think Stacia and Nate have a strong resemblance.
In most states marriage licenses can only be obtained by the individual parties applying and not a proxy, you have to know who you are marrying, theres no fill in the blank section. I was married in Louisiana and there are many factors that go into applying for a marriage license, birth certificates of both parties, ssn number, prior divorce decrees- one of the two parties can apply but I assure you the information that is needed to get a license no random person would just have. 😉 I think the licenses are applied for after the ceremony takes place, being that the participants know who their spouse are, being that the matches are a secret. 🤫🤥
They do obtain all of the information from both parties that is needed for the license prior to the wedding. As I mentioned in the video, they lawyered up and were able to do some legal acrobatics to make it work in the cities they've filmed in so far. I wouldn't be surprised if the marriage license issue is a big factor on where they choose to film. There are financial advantages to having them film in your city, I wouldn't be surprised if loop holes were found or created...money talks! LOL
Chris from MAFS Atlanta confirmed my theory - their marriage licenses were applied for after the ceremonies. I knew I was right, laws are laws. We as viewers are presented with smoking mirrors, however viewers who know, know😊 #married2decadesplusp
It seems like Chris did not follow half of these rules, how the hell he get a pass?!!
Right????? The experts claim Chris presented differently during the screening process. But from the previews before the season even started he seemed like trouble to me!
@@TamaraLynetteTales Exactly but ok the experts kept using that excuse of he was a different person initially (which was getting old). but my thing is throughout the show he did a lot of things that the producers allowed and he basically controlled the show! The having his social media active, having a cell phone during taping (I haven’t been watching in a few years) but if I remember correctly or any reality show I thought you couldn’t have your cell phone! shoot at least during taping!! the not moving in with her even tho that wasn’t really a rule but he didn’t participate at all, he didn’t attempt to try to work this out by his actions. He was living his own life! Paige and the show/producers were at his mercy! Like dude your just a contestant or whatever you don’t run nothing!
@@malston81 Interesting you mention the cell phone. Some franchises (other countries) take the phones. But you're correct, it appeared as though producers allowed Chris to run the show. I think they need a way to safeguard cast members when they make a toxic "mistake" with a match. This was like watching a car crash in slow motion.
@@TamaraLynetteTales exactly!! With all these rules you would of thought Chris and past singles like him wouldn’t have been a second thought! After this disaster I really hope they really dig into peoples history the way they claim to & speak to family, friends & ex’s! Personally I don’t think anyone should be picked who has been in a relationship like less than a year & a half, but nothing more than like 5 yrs, no kids or potential kids & no one else whose been married before…it seems like to much drama and outside influences to really allow the couples a chance.
@@malston81 I totally agree. Especially about not being in a relationship recently. I think of this show being for those who struggle to find love. Not for those who are recently single. Hopefully, they won't continue to pair older divorced with young and never married either. 🤪
Awesome video of secrets I want to hear!!!
💜💜💜Thank you!!!! 💜💜💜
This entire season I have been wondering if Chris was fined or they just edited out his parts because he stayed walking off or not showing up.
Good question! I assume he taped but they edited out a lot of his footage.
How did Karen find Miles’ social media if it’s supposed to be hidden before the marriage?
A family member supposedly found it
Plus I don't know how well they track this...to make sure they actually hide their accounts right away.
If you recall, the production team were texting the wedding parties. While doing so, they made a mistake and sent one of the bridesmaids a message intended for the groomsmen (which included Miles name). Her bridesmaid told her of course. I’m sure that member of production was dang near fired until they realized the drama (& hike in ratings) it caused.
@@MarryingTheHubbs Yes I remember. Then once she had his name she looked him up on social media and specifically says she watched all his Instagram stories and that he wasn't her type. That was the breakdown she had right before the wedding when she told the producer she looked him up.
Miles didn't have it hidden. #rulebreaker
I like the rules, now they need to tighten those NDAs or maybe sue someone.Participants will come to their senses quick
Why would anyone in their right mind, want to do this show?
Good question. Wayyyy too risky and takes the fun and romance out of dating.
I'm guessing fame, and money
Thanks I'm so thru with these shows!!
Do they test for diseases? Because that would be my main concern. 🤮
Seriously right??!! They didn't mention it, but I hope they make them take a physical and test for STD's. Yikes!! LOL
They do. But if you’re past the whole process phase who’s to say what you do. (Insert Chris’s name)
@@sephora_b Excellent point!!!! 😂
I can't believe they do a psych evaluation.
😂 😂
But they can go home and stay away from their spouse? They can cry and get their own room not to be around their spouse. Why isn't this in the rules that you can't leave your spouse and go home?
They can't force you to stay anywhere against your will.
Im still trying to figure out what happened with Clara and her husband?
Me too! It seems like they went from planning a vow renewal to announcing their divorce over night.
One couple was able to get an annulment so far.
💯Since this video, I've learned that 2 couples have gotten annulments.
I loved your video but how do you explain the couples that were granted an annulment? Brandon & Taylor and most recently, Meka & Michael? Though I believe Michael paid for his own attorney because he's the only one that had one.
Yeah. Pastor Cal said these are binding marriages that don't qualify for annulments so I took his word for it. I try my best to be accurate but this one I got wrong. 😔
Meeks and Michael got an annulment
Thanks for this. I wasn't aware of this. I just looked it up and he was able to get an annulment because he sited that the network defrauded him. Meantime, he was the one who lied non-stop. LOL
@@TamaraLynetteTales He was told that he was gonna get a wife who is compatible with him and it would be a real marriage (i.e., get to have sex with his stranger-wife). Instead, he was paired with a raging bitch and they never had sex. Defrauding is 100% grounds for an annulment. The honeymoon episode is enough evidence to convince any judge.
@@jdfodio 🤣 I don't believe that they can contractually guarantee him sex but I get your point. 👍🏽
They go through a lot of couples just to get the handful the do have stay together
Yeah the odds are not great.
And ppl wonder how celebrities do broke...These contestants go thru all that for 1000 dollars a week to be of TV 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Exactly. Many TV shows don't pay as much as people may think.
18,000 that's it!!!????
Yes. Reality shows don't pay well the first year because they are essentially unknowns.
After watching some of these couples over the years and now they behave either process is completely flawed or some of these people know how game the process. Yuck!
That’s why some lose their jobs
You are so good! How do you find all this out?!
Attorneys is a plural, not a possesive (attorney's) FYI 😉
*"supposedly"
Thats so crazy 🤪
Post the algorithm pick, I thought the experts narrowed the couple picks down but the producers make the final decision?🤔
I'm pretty sure it's the opposite. The producer's do the heavy lifting of using the various tools, psychology evaluation, finances, algorithm etc to narrow the picks down, then the experts pick from those.
@@TamaraLynetteTales The reason why I said it the other way around is because of the importance of ratings. Some of these people appear to be planted by the producers for ratings, like Chris from season 12.💯
@@franceskittrell8761 It's probably a collab. If the producers feel strongly about a couple, at the end of the day, they are the boss soooo... 😁
Lord, Doug's hair. 😲I had forgot and it's worse than I forgot. What was he thinking!?
Let's just say...I see what Jaime saw at first sight. LOL
@@TamaraLynetteTales 😄 😂
Repeat they’re lines? Yeah that’s natural.
Soooo Hollywood to have to do several takes of your wedding 😂
NEW 'EXPERTS', PLEASE! THEY'RE THE WORST AT WEEDING OUT THE COMPLETE WACO'S!!!!!
They were better when A&E was the main channel. The producers are big in the picks
Meka and Michael and Taylor and Brandon were granted annulments. Am not sure how they were able to get that cause with an annulment you are claiming fraud. I wonder if Paige would be able to get an annulment.
I read that Michael claimed that the show defrauded him somehow and won. Meantime, HE was the lying fraud. I didn't know Taylor and Brandon got an annulment as well. Interesting!
@@TamaraLynetteTales Michael won because the judge saw his extreme patience in dealing with bitchy Meka.
7:04 what season they on ?
That's season 1 Monet and Vaughn. I barely remember them.
So they did a financial evaluation on Chris??? Apparently they just checked internet info and believed what Chris told them, oh I am a rich millionaire. Yeah me too!!
Yeah. I don't know if they actually require bank statements and examine debt to income ratio. If they don't, they should.
They literally matched an unemployed man one season lol.
@@deeroberts1940 OH yeah. I remember that. 😂 I think he said he quit his job to do the show. I don't remember who that was or which season 🤔
@@TamaraLynetteTales yea it’s a blur to me as well. You are right that’s what he said. Sir I would rather my husband have a job lol this show will end at some point
@@deeroberts1940 Right?!?!?! 🤣🤣🤣
$1000 seems measly for what they go through. But $18,000 In 8 weeks ain’t so bad . Hell ! If I was single , I’d do the show for the $$ . Ham it up real good . Haha ! 2 people that are already dating could actually go on the show and say all the right things to the match makers and end up together hypothetically. But then if they got matched with the wrong one , then had sex with their new spouse and whatnot , that could be BAD . Maybe that’s why some don’t consummate the marriage. They may have pulled that very stunt and their real partner didn’t get chose for them . I always wonder if ppl do that 🤣
Myrla’s waist to hip ratio should have ruled her out. I’m just sayin’ This was very interesting. Thank you, TamaIa. Thought they made more than $18,000.
I wish they would please make at least one change,,I would encourage them to focus more on what people have in common. Their polar opposite approach is not working-particularly when it comes to basic values. In some cases, these disastrous relationships may impact them in negative ways for years to come. And, just think about having to explain that you are divorced.
Myrla's hip ratio would rule her out? LOL! I can think of a bunch of additional reasons to rule Myrla out. haha! This show is proving that the opposites attract theory has very bad odds!
@@TamaraLynetteTales Indeed! I was wondering at what point the show assessed waist to hip measurements of women. It was immediately noticeable that Myrla’s waist seemed about as wide as her narrow hips. For sure there were obvious red flags more serious than her waist to hip ratio.
