Islam isn’t a religion. It is a complete way of life that has come to spread the Truth and rid the world of falsehood. Culture and tradition that promotes idolatry is false and must be demolished, which is exactly what the Prophet Muhammad (saw) did in Makkah. It’s easy to criticise Islam in this way but without wanting to be rude your statement is rather superficial. Islam does allow different culture and traditions as long as they do not contradict with its core principles. This ensures that the identity of a Muslim is an Islamic one based on how the Creator defined rules for His creation to live by. Who knows the product better than its manufacturer? Beyond this, Muslims can have their preferred foods and styles of clothing from their own culture (for example) as long as this is within the confines of what Islam allows. Non Muslims might find this rigid and oppressive but Muslims understand this is what has kept Islam firm, principled and the fastest growing whereas liberalism is destroying everything else in its path. There were despicable traditions on how women were treated in pre-Islamic Arabia for example: it was Islam that provided women with rights and value and the ability to inherit and own land whereas the rest of the world just about embraced these in the last 100 years or so. What was brought 1400 years ago was brought by the Messenger of God to correct the ignorance and falsehood of idol worship that had become prevalent. Mecca was always the place of monotheism. Kaaba was built by Prophet Abraham who was monotheist. At that time no human being loved in Mecca. As time passed by, Mecca became a civilization full of idol worship. Destroying anyone's place of worship in Islam is not allowed. But in Kaaba's case, it was justified because that place was hijacked by polytheists. So Prophet Muhammad conquered that area and brought back monotheism.

Culture and traditions are different from Religion. Both can co exist together and is required for a civilized society. But there's something in Islam which destroys local culture and traditions. Islam isn’t a religion. It is a complete way of life that has come to spread the Truth and rid the world of falsehood. Culture and tradition that promotes idolatry is false and must be demolished, which is exactly what the Prophet Muhammad (saw) did in Makkah. What MBS is doing is trying to take us back to the time of ignorance. This ignorance will take the world further into darkness. Islam has come to bring the world out of darkness and into the light.
It’s easy to criticise Islam in this way but without wanting to be rude your statement is rather superficial. Islam does allow different culture and traditions as long as they do not contradict with its core principles. This ensures that the identity of a Muslim is an Islamic one based on how the Creator defined rules for His creation to live by. Who knows the product better than its manufacturer? Beyond this, Muslims can have their preferred foods and styles of clothing from their own culture (for example) as long as this is within the confines of what Islam allows. Non Muslims might find this rigid and oppressive but Muslims understand this is what has kept Islam firm, principled and the fastest growing whereas liberalism is destroying everything else in its path. There were despicable traditions on how women were treated in pre-Islamic Arabia for example: it was Islam that provided women with rights and value and the ability to inherit and own land whereas the rest of the world just about embraced these in the last 100 years or so. To put is simply, the Creator aided us in identifying which cultures and traditions are not harmful and which are. Feel free to hate on Islam if you prefer though.

Mecca was always the place of monotheism. Kaaba was built by Prophet Abraham who was monotheist. At that time no human being loved in Mecca. As time passed by, Mecca became a civilization full of idol worship. Destroying anyone's place of worship in Islam is not allowed. But in Kaaba's case, it was justified because that place was hijacked by polytheists. So Prophet Muhammad conquered that area and brought back monotheism.
