It may be strange to some why the indian airforce is placed higher then the chinese airforce but this has been the case since about 2021. This is manly attributed to indias larger variety of advanced fighters and wider technical capabilities. This largely because india can buy a larger variety of advanced aircrafts from other nations and join more joint projects. This has also improved indias domestic aviation research segment which is largely considered ahead of china with the key exception of bombers as india has no rival to chinas h-20 bomber. The chinese airfleet as a whole out powers the indian airfleet with sheer numbers. Indias navy still severely falls behind chinas in mosts aspects including its aviation capability.
