- Hey y'all, with the COVID-19 preventing high school students from visiting schools, I thought I would sit down and talk about what made me choose RIT. I know choosing which school to attend is a HUGE decision, and COVID-19 must only add to that stress. There aren't many videos out there on YT about RIT, so I hope this helps some of you in your decisions! Feel free to reach out with any questions about the school. I will answer to the best of my ability and try to find answers to those that I can't answer myself.

Hope you enjoy your time at RIT! :D The community is wonderful there and is a great school to go to.
-From a current 5th year RIT/NTID student
I was NTID supported student to attend RIT classes where I can get interpreters and notetakers. That was a great service for the Deaf students who attended RIT. I am Deaf. Emma, you made the right choice. I wish you the best in your studies at RIT.
So helpful and you’re so sweet! Laughed at the bricks part cuz the campus sure ain’t the cutest i’ve seen. Thank you so much girl❤️
Just graduated from UB. Looking to go to RIT for ultrasound but their tuition is scaring me (I currently don’t have any loans... which is why I’m scared)
Apply and see what they give you for aid! I was scared of the price too but I ended up only paying about $5k a semester out of pocket which is less expensive then most SUNYS
Im broke but I am determined to fight for a good education still thank you I have one day to make my decision
did you decide to go to rit?
@@Lucas-nf9xc yes
@@Karina._. congrats!!
Hi, I’m a Sophomore in hs and looking to go to RIT, I am hard of hearing and have been using hearing aids since I was little and was wondering if you knew more information on the hearing aid repair and opportunities

Applying for this jan 2022
Hey I applied a few months I'm just waiting to hear back. Can you tell me about what you or your friend's high school GPA's were like? I just wanna know what my chances are of getting in.
Hi, I applied a few months back as well and i got the acceptance just a few weeks back. If you applied for regular decision as I did, you might get in a few days/weeks.
My high-school GPA was around 3.4 or smtng, but I had extra curricular as well, so that helped. But overall, if you have a decent score in highschool, a decent extra curricular (or none also), and a good essay, youll get in.
Dont worry, RIT gives acceptances to many and hopefully youll get it soon, dont stress about it. If its getting delayed, just email your admission counsellor. Goodluck! Hope you get in!
@@sahildayal3024 thank you so much that’s great to hear you got in! I think I applied with a 3.4 and I have a lot of extra curriculars. I’m still waiting but I’m sure I’ll hear back in March
@@samanthaboreland8866 You got it dude! With the extra curricular you might just get a good scholarship as well! Good luck my dood!
@@samanthaboreland8866 Hiya! I just got accepted with a founders scholarship. I had a 3.1 GPA BUT I had a lot of extra curriculars to balance that out. I think my essays were pretty decent but it’s definitely all my performing arts stuff that got me the acceptance and 12,500 a year scholarship. If you’re worried your GPA is too low I think you’ll be fine if you’ve contributed to your community in an impactful way, or you have some thing that really makes you stick out. I had terrible grades, but I did enough community out reach and mentoring and things like that to balance it out. Hope you get in :)
@@_Charles_LeClerc_ thank you so much! I definitely have enough extra curriculars
