Good video. However all the places that have threads need blue locktite not all that res grease. Having all that grease on the threads they will want to back out. How is it holding up?
Thanks for the info! So far it's been great! Have about 50-60 hours on it since and it's been holding up great. I've been pretty rough on her at times too but right now I'm trying to sell her so I can work on my sportsman more. I feel like I've become an old man
@@AthenasGarageOffical I just got done doing that job about 20 mins ago. Used that video thanks for posting. I however elected to swap the axle and hubs so everything was new. Didn’t feel like cleaning it all. It was all seized to fuck taking it apart. But it’s 19 years old so what do you expect. I put locktite and anti seize on everything so in 19 years it will be easy to do. Thanks again
For sure man! That's awesome it actually helped! That's why I posted them! I wish I would have changed everything out for new but I didn't have the money at the time.
I need to change it on mine urgently the problem is that mine has a adjustable axle and it doesn’t have that big nut on it it’s different and I don’t know how to remove the axle
An adjustable axle? Those should just be at the ends where the hubs connect to it. All of them should have the axle nut that's keep it's on the carrier. Maybe I'm just thinking of something else tho.. you have any pictures?
It's pretty easy man just watch some tutorials on here about how to make a youtube banner! That's all I did and followed it step by step just with my own design

So did it hold well with no O-rings
As far as I know. I ended up selling it about 6 months after that video. Still regret it
