+Gigi Caito Thanks for the comment, and I'm sorry to have taken so long to reply. It was a privilege for me to get this footage, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did not have any sophisticated lenses for this (sadly), and all the footage was captured with a Canon HD camcorder (VIXIA HF R40). It has a powerful zoom, but the image quality degrades as you zoom in. The portrait-style clips of the juveniles in the second half of the video were taken from only about 20 feet away! A rare treat that I was able to take advantage of 4 or 5 times as the older chicks were getting used to flying and trying out new perches. I'm hoping I can get a repeat performance next year!
