The new Copa 19 line from Adidas has made quite the splash, mainly because of the unique laceless design of the Copa 19+, but that's not the only boot in the line. If you don't have $275 to spend on those, Adidas also offers the Copa Gloro 19.2 for $110, the first takedown model in the line. Unlike the rest of the line, this boot features an old-school Predator inspired strapped tongue, but with one very interesting quirk, Adidas tells you to cut it off! Or at least they give you the option. In today's video we take a closer look at the launch Initiator Pack colorway and talk about whether or not these boots are worth the $110 price tag. I really liked the Copa 19+, I love the fact that Adidas went with a bit of a retro look and I think it is a bit of a good idea about cutting the tongue

I got Nike’s premiers 2 and I like them but they are a bit soft for my liking. I getting those copa’s and going to do a review, maybe. Will see which ones better suit larger guys.

Hi josh, recently I took a nasty challenge to the ankle and have since been looking for better ankle protection. Do you think you could do a video reviewing some of the current items on the market for ankle protection?
Edit: I’d love to see whether the bubble zone on the elite new balance socks offers any real protection compared to something like shin guards with attached ankle protectors for example :)
There are no ankle guards that provide any real protection. Anything you'll find is just thin foam that will help with small bumps and bruises, maybe even prevent a cut, but if some comes in with a dirty challenge, you're going to feel it. The only ankle protection that I ever wear is the little bit you get with the Storelli Bodyshield Leg Guards, but I usually wear the sleeve version that leaves your ankle exposed.
Get Tiempos. From my experience they provide the best protection compared to others
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Hmm interesting. Definitely an area of football technology that needs to be improved IMO, otherwise attacking players can just get fouled out of a game. Thanks for replying though, maybe i'll look into some sock + guard combinations for the most protection.
@@SuperAFHD Well the injury I have is right on the ankle bone as he went over the top of the ball, it's fortunate it wasn't fractured or something tbh. No boot can protect against challenges like that, but I think leather boots like Tiempos would provide better foot protection for stamps and stuff.

Why dont most sports retail stores sell top end boots, instead theyll always sell the academy version of a boot. Even at my local nike outlet they dont sell top end boots.
The cheap shit is what drives sales.
Low-end boots outsell top-end boots 100 to 1. If not more. Stores aren't going to carry what they aren't going to sell.
I have a local soccer shop and they carry top end boots, but their customers are people who would buy them, a generic sports store wouldn't expect many customers to buy them

I remember getting the top line boot for £45 damn boots are expensive these days. This said I paid £145 for the Adidas AdiPure boots. They had the softest leather think maybe Kangaroo?? But they were an absolute beast of a boot. The close control and feel was unreal, the softness meant no cutting in needed. And the way I could get my foot around the ball for passing and shooting was un paralleled.

The tongue strap goes around the mid section of the boot not around the front where you put it.
Where you put the strap is totally down to you. There's no right or wrong spot to put it.

There's no tips for that. That's why they make different sizes, so you can get the proper fit. If they're too big, you can't make them fit better.

Not a huge difference. You could argue that the 1 is a little nicer, but again, the difference is minimal.

So what you wanna do I'd get some butter, 2 tbsp of olive oil and some baking soda, mix and smear it all in the inside of boots. Rlly helpful for reducing blisters

I just bought the premier 2 at a Nike outlet for 20 dollars. Amazing deal for kangaroo leather, the cleats are very solid so far. Haven’t had too much play time in them yet though
