The use of narrative music alongside with the story telling, encompassing atmosphere, backgrounds/titles, and the use of vocals tied everything in the album together, stellar work! A understatement really. The entire album is start to end replayable with those electronic beats always ready to hook you in 💼

You like Louie Zong? His early work was a little too animation wave for my taste. But when Beats Ep came out in '17, I think he really came into his own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate synths that really gives the songs a big vibe. He's been compared to khai dreams and Ginger Root, but I think Louie has a far more saccharine, hopeful sense of humor. In '22, Louie released this; Business, his most corporate album. I think his undisputed masterpiece is "Groovy Graphs! (A)". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the follow up Groovy Graphs! (B). But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of data and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the artist himself.
I'd love an album of space station music - with occasional announcements kinda like you'd hear in Portal/other sci-fi games. There's something eerie but comforting about that stuff
This is amazing Louie! I think this is my favorite album of yours so far. I feel like your sound has matured a lot. I'm not usually one to compare one artist to another because I feel like it takes away from the fact that it's your sound and nobody else's, but it reminds me of how I feel listening to Mort Garson. Not that you sound like Mort Garson, it just makes me feel a similar way, like the level of magic and freedom that I feel in it is similar. I'm blown away.
These are all so good, but damn, The Big Conference! goes SO HARD. I was doing something else while listening, and didn't even notice the track start, I was just suddenly dancing to it without realizing it.
