What Does Termite Damage Look Like?

Here is some termite damage from Oxford, Massachusetts.
Notice the mud around the damaged wood, this is evidence of termites. Carpenter ant damage would not have mud around the damaged areas.

Good video. That just helped me a lot. Carpenter ants are cleaner and they leave what looks like sawdust. When you’re trying to tell the difference that’s pretty much all you need to know
