Mohammed Ben Sulayem is used his subordinates do exactly what he wants. In the West it works differently. In The Netherlands where Max is from this management-style will not do... 🙃
@@F1NEWSNitroWorldMBS is the BS F1 could do without. FIA (Foca) has always failed the sport miserably, and now also FOM is in turmoil. It is even worse than with Ballestre, and he really made a mess back in the day remember him? I Ido, but I'm just 50 years a follower of the F1. McLaren has lost all the sympathy I had for them in record time, in the last 3 months. And tho I'm Dutch I am a neutral follower of the sport, I don't understand fandom at all. I hope that, instead of politics of the past decades, the sports results will matter much more in the coming years.
Acceptability of 'management style' is a matter of culture. Autocratic, democratic, dictatorial, deceitful, cooperative, constructive, etc., you can see them all around the world. If you want to make sure at least the fundamental basis of your management is preserved, you need to be very clear on that and who you hire. I know money talks. Make sure you understand it's language very clearly.
The Drivers need, no MUST, remember one little thing. There are literally THOUSANDS of drivers who would give both balls to have a drive in F1. If the drivers are upset, don't like something, then they can easily be replaced.
who can fire Bimsalabim?

Thanks for your comment! Leadership styles do vary globally, and it’s true that collaboration is key in F1.

Awesome comment. Thank you. This is excellent and applies to much of the management challenges I face in my organization.
Cheers
remove the Mohammed Sulayem from the sport.
Well congratulations. you have managed to spin out a trivial story for over 8 minutes. Where is the real content -these are all adults after all.
