I like making them my self from scratch. If I ever go to a shaper with my dimensions, and customization, they will never do it. No shaper on earth will know your surfing skills, and wants, hence the best shaper is our self.

I have an idea/invention for surfboards, have a camera built into the bottom of the board that scans what's beneath you and with an alarm or flashing light built in the top of the surf board, when the camera spots a shark after scanning it will trigger the alarm letting the surfer know a shark is nearby

PU. But you can use foams, like EPS and XPS, basically to shape a board you can make it of any core that floates. Hollow wood surfboard. I make all my surfboards.
