The first step worked for me and this was one one of the things that I done but I clicked automatic instead of manual and lost hours. All the computers and phones were connecting except one. I was downloading all this software and support from dell but wow this was so fast. You were right. This 100% solved my problem!!!!!

IF ANYONE STILL HAS THIS PROBLEM: I spent 8 hours trying to work it out, all the videos show the same thing. But this worked for me. Turn your PC off, then switch off the switch to the PSU. Then unplug the PC and hold onto the power button for 30 seconds to drain all the power. then plug back in and it should work!
Thank you it worked! TIP: my latest windows update basically didn’t work with my latest driver update (router) so I selected choose > chose the older one > updated > it can now locate my wifi. Before it was locating neighbors wifi but not mine. This video gave me the path to fix it thank you 🙏
I had a problem with a white x besides my wifi name, tried everything possible to remove it, but uninstalling my network adapter worked. There wasn't really a specific video for it, but I hope that those who have the same problem find this comment. Thanks mate

I tried updating the driver and error , so I disabled the driver , than turned the computer off and back on , then enabled the driver , then the wifi is now working
So my problem is that not all wifi networks dissappear from the list but only the one I've been using ..all other networks are visible even the Hotspot This happened because of the latest update am guessing but I tried everything u said and yet nothing seems to happen
After above steps I am getting a message like "The hardware was installed. This device is not working properly because windows can't load the drivers required for this device (code 31)" How to fix that?
